AFTER ABOUT 15000 MORE MILES THE TENSIONER IS FAILING ONCE AGAIN. *JG

THE Y PIPE ON THIS VEHICLE HAS BECOME NOISY, AND LEAKS FUMES. THE VEHICLE HAS OXYGEN SENSORS WHICH CONNECT TO THIS PIPE TO KEEP THE ENGINE RUNNING PROPERLY. THE COST TO REPLACE THIS PIPE IS EXCESSIVE , MORE THAN $400.00 , AND SUZUKI HAS HAD SEVERAL COMPLAINTS IN REGARDS TO THIS "Y" PIPE WHICH IS LOCATED BETWEEN THREE CAT. CONVERTERS, AND ALSO HAS A WAITING PERIOD TO GET. I BELIEVE THIS ITEM IS MADE CHEAP AND SUZUKI IS AWARE IT HAS A SHORT LIFE PERIOD . FURTHER I FEEL SUZUKI SHOULD REPLACE THIS ITEM AS A RECALL, AS THE VEHICLE WILL NOT PASS A…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
