TO WHOM IT MAY CONCERN, I HAVE HAD PROBLEMS WITH MY SUZUKI MOTORCYCLE WITH THE TRANSMISSION. THE SECOND GEAR DOES NOT WORK AND IT SEEMS TO NOT BE THERE, AND THE CLUTCH MAKES LOUD CHATTERING SOUNDS MOST LIKELY DUE TO THE TRANSMISSION. PLEASE INVESTIGATE THE MATTER, AND I BELIEVE SUZUKI KNOWS OF THIS PROBLEM BUT WILL NOT ISSUE A RECALL.
TRANSMISSION SECOND GEAR SKIPS LOOSING POWER.NOTE THIS MOTORCYCLE IS NEVER BEEN ABUSED.I WAS GETTING INTO THE HIGHWAY WHEN TRANSMISSION STARTS SKIPPING AND ALMOST GOT HIT BY A CAR DUE TO LOOS OF POWER.I KNOW OF OTHER FRIEND OF MINE WITH SAME MODEL SAME YEAR MOTORCYCLE WITH THE SAME PROBLEM.IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION PLEASE SEND ME AND EMAIL.THANKS FOUR YOUR INTEREST.

MOTORCYCLE KEPT SLIPPING OUT OF SECOND GEAR, IT DID IT FIRST AT 55 MPH BUT THEN DID IT ALL THE TIME AFTER THAT. SUZUKI KNOWS ABOUT THE PROBLEM AND REFUSES TO ISSUE A RECALL TO FIX THE PROBLEM. IF THE PROBLEM WITH THIS PERSISTS IT WILL END UP COSTING ME MY ENTIRE PRICE OF MY BIKE SINCE MY WARRANTY ENDS IN A FEW MONTHS. SUZUKI TRIES TO BLAME THE PROBLEM ON RIDER ERROR AND NOT FAULTY PARTS. WE PAY FOR THE BEST IN BIKE PERFORMANCE AND WE GET CHEAP PARTS THAT BREAK IN 5500 MILES.*AK
I DIDNT EVEN HIT A POTHOLE OR ANYTHING THE RIM WAS JUST BENT. THERE ARE ABOUT 20 OTHER OWNERS OF THE SAME BIKE WITH THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM THE RIMS ARE REALLY WEAK NOT SAFE FOR THE STREET IF YOU ASK ME. IT ALSO DAMAGE MY TIRE SO I HAD TO GET A NEW ONE ALSO. IM ALWAYS CHECKING MY WHEELS NOW TO MAKE SURE THEY ARE NOT DAMAGE AND SUZUKI TOLD ME THEY WONT AND REFUSE TO HELP ME THIS MOTORCYCLE ALSO HAS CLUTCH, TRANSMISSION, AND MOTOR PROBLEMS THAT ARE STARTING TO BE DISCOVERD ITS A FIRST YEAR BIKE ALSO.*AK

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
