We brought our 2022 Toyota Sienna in for service January 2024 for the driver's seat. We brought the vehicle in, and the service technician discovered that the driver's seat assembly was loose and cracking. The 3rd row seats in the Sienna do not stay stowed as there is no lock. This creates a very dangerous situation when braking. I just got this car a few days ago and already have issues. When I brake or go over bumps, the stowed 3rd row seat pops up a little. That's okay, until you brake. In one instance, I had to brake harder than usual during a traffic incident in front of me, and the 3rd row seats flew forward (up and out of the stowed position) and slammed into the 2nd row seats. It was loud and scary. My child was sitting in the 3rd row (…

The sliding doors will shut off after 60+ minutes of being left open. In order to close them afterwards, you must fight with the power closing mechanism which makes it incredibly slow to close. This is dangerous if someone is threatening you and you need to get in your car and close the door. Or if a swarm of bees is coming at you. It takes about 30 seconds to close the door when this happens. Toyota claims this is to save power but this makes no sense as an excuse as the rear. Liftgate can stay open indefinitely without problem.

The center console between the front seats has a design defect. When small objects such as a credit card, key fob, or coin are left on the flat surface of the console, they can slip through a gap into the internal storage compartment. Once inside, the object becomes lodged and physically blocks the console lid from opening, locking the owner out of the storage compartment. The console must be partially disassembled to retrieve the object. This is a design flaw, not operator misuse. The flat surface visually appears usable, and the owner's manu…

While driving my 2025 Toyota Sienna XLE with Sure Grip Push‑Rock electronic hand controls, the acceleration suddenly stops working without warning. When this happens, the hand control will not accelerate at all , only the brake still works , leaving me coasting in traffic with no way to speed up. This has happened multiple times at different speeds and creates an immediate danger because I can only slow down or stop, not accelerate out of the situation. At the same time these acceleration failures occur, the vehicle shows a “SRS Airbag System …
