Owner report 11691761 · 2025-10-07 (October 7, 2025)

When i am driving from high speed and trying to use my brakes, the whole rear car will start shaking around 48/45 miles per hour , I can hear our car seat from our baby how it makes vibrating noises and i can see my both door mirrors they're shaking too, and when it drops to 40mil per hour the shaking goes away. Went to the local Toyota dealer 3 times and they're saying that's normal. Very disappointed with a brand new car. We have another new car and doesn't do that for sure... Owner report 11719767 · 2026-02-22 (February 22, 2026)

Toyota issued a recall due to suspected second row seat welds failing in a crash on October 7, 2025, with Safety Recall Notice mailed beginning of December 2025, and has not offered a remedy. The suggestion of not having anyone sit in the second row for over four months now is absurd and warrants investigation. We purchased the van with needing the space to occupy 5+ passengers and are not able to have all passengers sit in the third row. Using third row is inconvenient for car seats and parents in their mid [XXX] . This is complete negligence …

The sunroof leaks. Took vehicle to dealership. Was told they saw drops of water around the light housing. This could cause an electrical malfunction which could be a safety hazard. They could not find the source of the leak. There are other 2025 Sienna owners talking about their sunroofs also leaking. Thank you.

Owner report 11718230 · 2026-02-16 (February 16, 2026)

Unresolved recall for second row seats in a MINIVAN that has to transport small children in car seats. Using the seats will put them at risk. Using third row is inconvenient. Keeping van on dealer lot for months on end will be bad for battery, etc. No timeline for repair. The reason we purchased the vehicle is unusable and a major safety concern.

Owner report 11657057 · 2025-04-27 (April 27, 2025)

Purchased a **2025 Sienna XSE** with severe alignment issues since new. After **two failed repair attempts** at Fort Bend Toyota, the steering is now worse, and they damaged my wheel without offering solutions. This is a **safety hazard**, the car drifts dangerously at slow and highway speeds. The dealership dismissed my concerns, forcing me to escalate to **NHTSA** and **Toyota Corporate**. Avoid for serious mechanical issues, safety clearly isn’t their priority.

We brought our 2022 Toyota Sienna in for service January 2024 for the driver's seat. The seat would make really loud popping noises that sounded like something was loose when the seat moved forward and backward. We brought the vehicle in, and the service technician discovered that the driver's seat assembly was loose and cracking. The technician removed and replaced faulty components of the seat assembly under warranty. The seat starting having the same issues recently, and we are concerned of an on going safety issue given the instability of t…

The 3rd row seats in the Sienna do not stay stowed as there is no lock. This creates a very dangerous situation when braking. I just got this car a few days ago and already have issues. When I brake or go over bumps, the stowed 3rd row seat pops up a little. That's okay, until you brake. In one instance, I had to brake harder than usual during a traffic incident in front of me, and the 3rd row seats flew forward (up and out of the stowed position) and slammed into the 2nd row seats. It was loud and scary. My child was sitting in the 3rd row (…

Rear foldable seats do not lock down into compartment. They bounce up when you stop just a little hard. Cable has already broken when this occurs. Anything laid on top of these seats when folded will be ejected inside of car. Hitting driver in the head. This is very dangerous. Already brought to dealer and complained and nothing was done. They said that's the way it is. Someone will die if this problem is not taken care of.

The sliding doors will shut off after 60+ minutes of being left open. In order to close them afterwards, you must fight with the power closing mechanism which makes it incredibly slow to close. This is dangerous if someone is threatening you and you need to get in your car and close the door. Or if a swarm of bees is coming at you. It takes about 30 seconds to close the door when this happens. Toyota claims this is to save power but this makes no sense as an excuse as the rear. The center console between the front seats has a design defect. When small objects such as a credit card, key fob, or coin are left on the flat surface of the console, they can slip through a gap into the internal storage compartment. Once inside, the object becomes lodged and physically blocks the console lid from opening, locking the owner out of the storage compartment. The console must be partially disassembled to retrieve the object. This is a design flaw, not operator misuse. The flat surface visually appears usable, and the owner's manu…

Liftgate can stay open indefinitely without problem.

I bought this vehicle brand new. I quickly realized that both rollers on the sliding doors were causing excessive noise, which I found out that many other owners have complained as well, when closing & opening. See recall above. We just spent $55,000 on this vehicle in order to safely transport and travel with our two year old and newborn. The fact that Toyota does not have a remedy available for this major issue is completely unacceptable. The recall notice states that our only current "remedy" is to not use the second row seats, which is not feasible since child safety seats only safely install in the second row. This so called "remedy" is absolutely unreasonable, illogical and irrational. It essentially renders our $55,000 vehicle unusable, whi…

I am writing regarding my 2025 Toyota Sienna, purchased in June 2025, which is currently subject to Safety Recall Interim Notice 25TB12 concerning unsafe second-row seat welds that could result in serious injury or death. I appreciate the professionalism and concern shown by Sparks Toyota in acknowledging the seriousness of this recall and providing a loaner vehicle while my Sienna is deemed unsafe to drive. However, the current loaner, a Toyota Highlander, does not meet my family’s needs and is not a reasonable substitute for the vehicle I purc…

We were notified by Toyota that the second row seat rails had incomplete welds. Toyota recommended no one ride in the second row, and no child car seats should be installed in the second row. This greatly impacts the use and safety of the vehicle for our family of five. Additionally, the value of the vehicle has been impacted. Dealerships are not willing to give fair value for a trade-in because they know the vehicle will sit on their lot for an unknown amount of time before the repair is available. At this time (now 60+ days since the recall w…

The drivers mirror shakes every bump you hit so everything looks blury going above 30mph. This is a huge safety concern as you can't see cars clearly in the mirror. One of the second row seats also shakes considerably. I have brought it to the dealer multiple times and they will not fix it.

The affected component appears to be the rear seat / seat track recall system. I took my Toyota vehicle to the dealership / repair center in approximately October 2025 for recall-related repair, and the vehicle was then kept there for months. I repeatedly contacted the repair center for updates but was not provided a clear repair completion date.
