I have found that the TCS/DSC control malfunctions occasionally and can lead to lose of power to the wheels right when it is necessary to avoid an accident. The worst time was when it was snowing out and even if I floored it the wheels did not turn. Once I shut off the TCS/DSC control I regained control and was able to avoid an accident. At about 25,000 miles, my vehicle steering began to lightly bind when driving on a straight road at highway speed. Although the steering wheel could be turned with some minor extra effort, the experience was troubling. At 29,880 miles I took my vehicle to the local dealer and asked to have the steering checked.
