WHILE STOPPED AT A RED LIGHT I WAS STRUCK IN THE REAR BYA CAR GOING ABOUT 55MPH. THE ENTIRE REAR SECTION OF THE CAR WAS DEMOLISHED AS TO BE EXPECTED, HOWEVER , BOTH BACKRESTS OF THE FRONT SEATS WERE KNOCKED ALMOST HORIZONTALLY. IF A PASSENGER WERE SEATED IN THE REAR OF THE CAR THE BACKREST OF THE FRONT SEATS WOULD HAVE CAUSED SEVERE INJURY TO THE REAR SEATED PASSENGERS.
