THE SEAT-BELT BUTTON ON MY 1990 ACURA INTEGRA IS BROKEN. IT FITS THE EXACT DESCRIPTION OF SOMETHING THAT HAS BEEN RECALLED IN THE PAST, BUT SINCE MY CAR HAS ALREADY BEEN RECALLED IN THE PAST, ACURA/HONDA DOES NOT CARE THAT IT IS THE EXACT SAME PROBLEM. *JB
AT 8:15PM THURSDAY, MARCH 26, 2009 I WAS TRAVELING SOUTH BOUND ON ROUTE 124 ALSO KNOWN AS WOODFIELD RD. WHEN I HIT A HOLE IN THE GROUND THAT WAS AT LEAST A FOOT DEEP. IT HAS BENT MY WHEEL, DAMAGED MY TIRE, AND BROKEN MY TIE ROD. I WOULD LIKE TO KNOW WHO WILL BE PAYING FOR THIS. *TR

Reported: 1995-05-24 (May 24, 1995)
THE FRONT SAFETY BELT BUCKLE RELEASE BUTTONS CAN BREAK. THESE RED PLASTIC RELEASE BUTTONS ARE MARKED "PRESS." IF A BUTTON BREAKS, PIECES CAN FALL INTO THE BUCKLE ASSEMBLY CAUSING THE BUCKLE TO OPERATE IMPROPERLY.
Consequence: THE SAFETY BELTS WOULD NOT PROVIDE ADEQUATE PROTECTION TO AN OCCUPANT IN A VEHICLE CRASH.
Remedy: OWNERS SHOULD PROMPTLY CHECK THE CONDITION AND OPERATION OF BOTH FRONT SAFETY BELT BUCKLES. CAREFULLY INSPECT THE RED RELEASE BUTTON FOR ANY BREAKS OR CRACKS. CHECK THAT BOTH BUCKLES ARE OPERATING PROPERLY BY INSERTING EACH LATCH PLATE INTO ITS BUCKLE, TUG ON THE BELT TO MAKE SURE THE LATCH IS SECURELY LOCKED, THEN PRESS THE RELEASE BUTTON. THE LATCH PLATE SHOULD POP OUT OF THE BUCKLE WHEN THE BUTTON IS PRESSED. IF EITHER RELEASE BUTTON SHOWS ANY SIGN OF BREAKAGE OR CRACKING, OR IF EITHER BUCKLE FAILS TO OPERATE PROPERLY, PROMPTLY CONTACT YOUR AUTHORIZED HONDA/ACURA DEALER TO SCHEDULE AN APPOINTMENT TO HAVE THE BUCKLE REPLACED OR REPAIRED, FREE OF CHARGE. THE MANUFACTURER IS DEVELOPING A REMEDY DESIGNED TO PREVENT THE FAILURE OF THE BUTTONS THAT ARE NOT CURRENTLY BROKEN.
Inspect model-year patterns, reported mileage, monthly activity and the evidence behind each signal.

I was driving on December 19, 2022 and noticed difficulty steering at cruising speeds (45mph). The steering became resistant to small movements. It did not move smoothly when I turned it to make minor adjustments, it required extra force to move from a still position. Once I applied enough force to turn, it turned freely. At low speeds such as turning in a parking lot, I did not notice any problems, but upon reaching approx 40mph, I did notice the problem. This makes the vehicle more difficult to operate in an unexpected manner and makes a co…
When driving 65+ MPH on the highway the vehicle begins to glide. Left or right. It is hard to bring back into center. I noticed it when I get the car two months ago but it is getting worse to the point I’m uncomfortable driving it. I have noticed I am not the only one with this complaint. I also do have an appointment with my local Acura dealership to get this assessed.
The contact owns a 2025 Acura Integra. The contact stated that while attempting to make a left or right turn, there was an abnormal sound coming from the steering wheel, and the vehicle became difficult to steer. Neither a dealer nor an independent mechanic was contacted. The vehicle was not taken to a dealer or an independent mechanic to be diagnosed. The vehicle was not repaired. The contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 24V744000 (STEERING); however, the VIN was not included in the recall. The manufacturer was not notified o…
I was on my way home from work this morning and all warning lights (electric power steering, ABS, collision control warning, brake system sensors, etc.) randomly came on and the steering became very still. When parking, I wasn’t able to turn the car off without pressing the “push to start” button multiple times.

My daughter was driving my car and another person coming the other direction turned into ongoing traffic causing the cars to tbone. My car front was crushed in with $9,000 worth of damage head on. My daughter hit her head on the steering wheel and suffered a concussion.
The contact owns a 2025 Acura Integra. The contact stated that while driving through an intersection at approximately 15 MPH, another vehicle ran the red light and struck the front passenger’s side of the vehicle, causing the contact to crash into another vehicle before coming to a stop. The contact stated that upon the initial impact, his wife's head struck the front passenger’s side window. The contact stated that there was a delay in the side curtain air bag deploying, and the passenger was trapped between the air bag and the side window. Th…
Vehicle only has 6,000 miles and I have an “Emissions system problem” along with “rev match disabled” message on my dash. Engine is now performing at a lower power level. Nothing out of the ordinary occurred before this. No error codes prior.
The rear camera view that shows lines to assist in parking and taking the car out of the parking is so much misaligned that resulted my car hitting my garage when taking it out . Acura needs to address this to prevent the damages it can cause to the adjacent cars and properties
On Sunday, June 7th at around 1330, the sunroof spontaneously exploded outward while driving in Amarillo, TX. Was driving at highway speed, 60mph on I-27. No overpass above and no cars in front. Was around 95 degrees and sunny outside. Loud explosion inside of car, then sounds of glass going on top of roof and back deck of car. Driver of car did not swerve but immediately braked and pulled to side of highway but did cause immediate distress. Passenger in car also was extremely distressed when loud noise occurred. Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
