This safety issue concerns the MMI system. In my state of MA we cannot use a cell phone while driving. The car's MMI system does not connect to the MMI and hands free calling cannot be done. The dealership and Audi have indicated there is no fix for this. The MMI does not currently have any functionality inclusive of various car warnings.

Engine auto start / stop engages before vehicle comes to complete stop and when on a road with an incline the engine shuts off and all forward momentum is lost causing the vehicle to roll backwards. The closest description I can think of is that it feels like the automatic transmission is slipping which should not happen on a car with 2,000 miles on it. According to TSB 401548, car dealership/manufacture will not provide extended warranty to repair premature wheel bearing due to vehicle VIN not in their system as an affected vehicle. The 2016 A4 has premature wheel bearing as described in the TSB 401548. Covered vehicles are 2016 Audi A4. Faulty wheel bearing may result in loss of control of vehicle and will not pass Pennsylvania State Inspection.
