TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A CEDAR CREEK FIFTH WHEEL TRAILER. THE VEHICLE HAS A DOMETIC REFRIGERATOR, MODEL RM2852. THE CONTACT RECEIVED A RECALL NOTICE FOR NHTSA CAMPAIGN ID NUMBER 08E032000 (EQUIPMENT) REGARDING A POSSIBLE FATIGUE CRACK. SHE TOOK THE VEHICLE TO THE DEALER AND WAS INFORMED THAT THE COOLANT SYSTEM WAS NOT COVERED BY THE RECALL. THE REFRIGERATOR NO LONGER WORKED, BUT THE DEALER WOULD NOT MAKE THE REPAIR. THE MANUFACTURER ALSO REFUSED TO REPAIR THE REFRIGERATOR. THERE WAS A LEAK AT THE BOTTOM OF THE REFRIGERATOR, THERE WAS A SME…

TL*THE CONTACT OWNS A 2008 CEDAR CREEK RLSA RV. WHEN THE VEHICLE WAS PARKED THE CONTACT OBSERVED THAT THE SUPPORT HANGERS WITH SECURE SPRINGS HAD BENT CAUSING THE SHOCKS TO RUB AGAINST THE TIRES. THE VEHICLE WAS TAKEN TO AN AUTHORIZED DEALER. THE TECHNICAIN WELDED EACH SUPPORT HANGER. THE CONTACT HAD CONCERN OF THE SAFETY ISSUE REGARDING THE SUPPORT BEAMS THAT WERE IMPROPERLY DESIGNED. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS UNAVAIALBLE.

THE GAS ALARM DID NOT SOUND EVEN THOUGH THE TRAILER WAS SO FULL OF PROPANE WE FELT SICK BREATHING IT JUST A FEW SECONDS AS WE OPENED WINDOWS, ETC. I HAD REMOVED ONE PROPANE TANK EARLY IN THE DAY TO TAKE IT FOR REFILLING. BASED ON THE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS, I THOUGHT THE REGULATOR WOULD PREVENT GAS FLOW FROM ONE TANK OUT THE HOSE TO THE OTHER TANK. USE ONE YEAR TO ABOUT 5,000 MILES AND BIG CHUNK OF TREAD FELL OF ONE TIRE. WAS ON THE ROAD AND HAD TO CALL RV ROAD SERVICE. THEY FOUND DEFECTS IN ALL TIRES AND DID NOT WANT US TO CONTINUE DRIVING.
