High altitude power loss. At around 8000' elevation, 60 degrees F. Engine was turned off for around 3 hours, started normally, idle normal, shifted into reverse and there was no power. It barely crept out of level parking place with accelerator floored. Engine continued to run smoothly but no power. I was half in the parking spot, half in the street and couldn't move forward or reverse. No warning lights prior / during / or after the problem. Approximately 4500 miles on van. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, and Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain 2-burner cooktops. The burner control valves may become damaged, causing a gas leak.
Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the cooktop, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 15, 2022. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service Phone Number 1-574-825-6319. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1513.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Coachmen Beyond, Galleria, and Nova recreational vehicles, equipped with certain Multiplex Electronic Control Modules (ECM). The ECM software may cause the awning to unintentionally extend or retract when the vehicle is parked.
Consequence: An awning that unintentionally extends or retracts increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will update the Electronic Control Module (ECM), free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 24, 2022. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-4995; Firefly customer service at 1-574-825-4600; or Coachmen customer service at 1-574-825-6319 or 574-825-6225. Forest River's number for this recall is 225-1538.
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Coachmen Galleria, 2023 Coachmen Beyond, and 2023 Nova motorhomes, equipped with SDS2 2-Burner Drop-in Cooktops with part numbers 3031AST and 3032AST. The internal aluminum burner tubes that connect to the gas valves may fracture and cause a gas leak.
Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will install a regulator support bracket, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2023. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-6307. Forest River's number for this recall is 225-1601.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Coachmen Galleria, Beyond, Forester, Sunseeker, and 2021-2024 Nova motorhomes, equipped with certain Cummins Onan QG 2800i, and Onan QG 2800i EVAP generator sets. The fuel hose between the inline fuel filter and the Injection Pump Module (IPM) may have inadequate clamp force, possibly resulting in a gasoline leak.
Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Cummins Dealers will inspect and replace the fuel hose and clamps, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 17, 2023. Owners may contact Cummins at: (800) CUMMINS OR (800) 286-6467. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-206-7600, or Coachmen Class B customer service at 1-574-825-8602. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2024 Coachmen Galleria motorhomes. The battery boost wiring may become damaged, resulting in an electrical short circuit and causing a loss of power steering.
Consequence: A loss of power steering increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will relocate the wiring to a different lug, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 13, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-825-6319. Forest River's number for this recall is 225-1716.
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Coachmen Galleria, 2021-2023 Forest River Beyond, and 2021-2023 Coachmen Nova Class B motorhomes. The retractable awning may extend unintentionally during transit.
Consequence: An awning extending unintentionally during transit may become a distraction or road hazard, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will install a wedge to support the internal components in the gearbox and replace the motor as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 9, 2024. Coachmen Galleria is a class B motorhome equipped with a 30 gallon freshwater tank that is mount to the underside of the vehicle on the driver side. the tank is made of plastic and held in place by a metal frame and the frame is bolted in place to the frame in the front and the back. two bolts in front and 2 bolts on back. As a was driving the vehicle. the 2 front bolts became lose and fell out, allowing the frame and water tank to fall to the pavement on interstate 95 south at a speed of 65 mph!
