TIRE COMPLAINT ON GOODYEAR MARATHON ST 235-80-16R. WE PURCHASED FOUR TIRES ON FEB 2014 FOR OUR 2012 CROSSROADS CRUISER FIFTH WHEEL VIN # [XXX]. WE HAVE HAD TWO BLOWOUTS IN LESS THAN ONE YEAR. EACH TIME THERE WAS TREAD SEPARATION. THE LAST EVENT OCCURRED ON MAY 15TH OF THIS YEAR. AS WITH THE FIRST OCCURRENCE, THERE WAS NO WARNING AND THE TIRES WERE PROPERLY INFLATED AND CHECKED PRIOR TO STARTING THE TRIP. IN REVIEWING THE OTHER COMPLAINTS ON THESE TRAILER TIRES FROM OTHER RV OWNERS, I AM SURPRISED THERE HAS NOT BEEN A RECALL ON THESE TIRES.…

CROSSROADS IS RECALLING CERTAIN MODEL YEAR 2011 CROSSROADS CRUISER RECREATIONAL TRAILERS, MANUFACTURED FROM AUGUST 5, 2010, THROUGH DECEMBER 15, 2010. THESE VEHICLES WERE MANUFACTURED WITH INCORRECT INFORMATION ON THE FEDERAL IDENTIFICATION TAG, TIRE AND LOADING INFORMATION LABEL AND THE RECREATIONAL VEHICLE CARGO CARRYING CAPACITY LABEL. THUS, THESE VEHICLES FAIL TO COMPLY WITH THE REQUIREMENTS OF FEDERAL MOTOR VEHICLE SAFETY STANDARD NO. 120, TIRE SELECTION AND RIMS FOR MOTOR VEHICLES OTHER THAN PASSENGER CARS.

Consequence: AN INACCURATE LABEL COULD LEAD TO IMPROPER VEHICLE LOADING SPECIFICATIONS WHICH COULD LEAD TO A TIRE FAILURE WHICH MAY RESULT IN PERSONAL INJURY OR PROPERTY DAMAGE.

Remedy: CROSSROADS WILL NOTIFY OWNERS AND PROVIDE CORRECTED LABELS. OWNERS MAY CONTACT THOR INDUSTRIES AT 937-596-7965 OR CROSSROADS AT 260-593-2866.

Keystone RV Company (Keystone) is recalling various 2003-2018 Crossroads, Dutchmen, and Keystone recreational trailers equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. A list of the affected trailer models is available at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V755-5127.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Keystone will notify owners and instruct them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. Owners may contact Keystone customer service at 1-574-535-2100, or Kidde customer service toll-free at 1-855-262-3540, or online at www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" for more information. Keystone's number for this recall is 17-307.

Tires	150.0% ODI 10310295 THE CAMPER WAS PURCHASED NEW IN APRIL 2008 AND OUR FIRST MAJOR TRIP WAS IN OCTOBER 2008. ON THAT TRIP, THE PASSENGER SIDE FRONT TIRE BLOWOUT ON THE FREEWAY AFTER ABOUT 10 HOURS OF TRAVEL. PRIOR TO TAKING ANY TRIPS, MY ROUTINE IS TO CHECK THE TRAILER TIRE CONDITION AND PRESSURE. SINCE THIS WAS THE FIRST BLOWOUT, I JUST ATTRIBUTED TO AN UNKNOWN ROAD HAZARD CONDITION. UPON RETURNING HOME, I BOXED UP EVERYTHING WE CARRIED ON THE TRIP AND WEIGHTED IT TO ENSURE WE WERE WITHIN THE CARRYING CAPACITY. UPON INSPECTION AND THEN REPAIR, THE 6 LUG BOLTS HAD SNAPPED FROM THE HUB. THE REPAIR MAN SAID HE HAD NEVER SEEN THIS BEFORE. I KEPT THE BOLTS AND TOOK PICTURES. I CONTACTED CROSSROADS TO COMPLAIN AND WAS TOLD MY UNIT WAS NOT THE ONE INVOLVED FOR THE RECALL (JUST 1 YEAR DIFFERENCE IN MODEL) FOR THE EXACT SAME THING.
