DT*: THE CONTACT STATED WHILE DRIVING 50 MPH ON DRY AND FLAT ROAD CONDITIONS, THE FRONT HOOD FLEW OPEN, WHICH PUSHED THE WINDSHIELD INTO THE CAB. NO INJURIES WERE SUSTAINED. THERE WERE NO WARNINGS PRIOR TO THE INCIDENT. THE VEHICLE WAS PULLED OVER, AND ANOTHER DRIVER ASSISTED THE CONTACT IN PUSHING THE HOOD BACK DOWN, SO THAT THE VEHICLE COULD BE DRIVEN TO THE RESIDENCE.
