WHEN THE TRUCK IS RUNNING THE IGNITION SWITCH GETS HOT, CAUSING THE BURNT COVER. ALSO, THE VOLT METER STARTS HIGH AFTER STARTING AND FLUCTUATES BETWEEN HIGH VOLTS AND LOW VOLTS UNTIL THE BATTERY RECOVERS ITS FULL CHARGE, (POSSIBLY RELATED).
