Reported: 2026-03-05 (March 5, 2026)
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2026 Dynamax Europa and Grand Sport GT motorhomes. The distribution panel may not be properly bonded to the chassis ground, allowing a conductor to energize the chassis.
Consequence: An energized chassis increases the risk of injury and electrocution.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and add a chassis bonding wire as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed April 14, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-522-1368. Forest River's number for this recall is 40-2038.

I purchased the brand new 2023 Dynamax Europa 31SS on May 20 for the dealership. When driving it home on the highway I experienced loose steering controls, pulling to the right and the steering rod clunking inside the steering column. It was difficult to maintain my lane of travel especially when going over small bumps or negotiating bends in the road. The highway was a flat, paved two-lane divided road and it was dry, clear and there was no wind. I experienced a sudden strong pull to the right and the motorhome veered sharply towards the dit…
