Recall history
6 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
20V600000 · Seats | Electrical System:Wiring
Reported: 2020-09-30 (September 30, 2020)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021 Entegra Aspire, Anthem, Cornerstone, and ReattaXL motorhomes built with Villa power seats. The power seat wiring may become chafed due to poor routing, and no protection, or melt from exceeding the 14 gauge wire amp capacity.
Consequence: Damaged power seat wires may short circuit, increasing the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Jayco will notify owners, and the dealers will inspect the seat wiring for loom protection and secure it with wire ties, free of charge. The remedy regarding the switch and exceeding the amp capacity is still under development. The recall began December 4, 2020. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-517-9137. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903521.
NHTSA campaign record ↗21V529000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer | Structure
Reported: 2021-07-13 (July 13, 2021)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, Insignia, Reatta, and Embark recreational vehicles equipped with Hehr 6400 series windows. The adhesive that bonds the vented portion of the window may fail.
Consequence: Adhesive failure may cause the vent portion of the window to detach, increasing the risk of a crash or injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the windows, and replace the vent if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 31, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903569.
NHTSA campaign record ↗21V769000 · Electrical System: Instrument Cluster/Panel
Reported: 2021-09-29 (September 29, 2021)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2019-2021 Entegra Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, Reatta, Reatta XL, and Jayco Embark Class A motorhomes. The instrument cluster may intermittently go blank while the vehicle is in motion.
Consequence: A blank instrument cluster display may be missing critical information such as the vehicle's speed and warning lights, which can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will update the control module software, and reroute and secure the duct work, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed October 22, 2021. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
NHTSA campaign record ↗21V885000 · Steering:Hydraulic Power Assist:Pump
Reported: 2021-11-16 (November 16, 2021)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021 Class A Cornerstone motorhomes. A machining defect may cause pressure to build in the power steering pump and break the shaft seal, resulting in a loss of power steering assist.
Consequence: A loss of power steering assist increases the risk of a crash.
Remedy: A Spartan or Shyft Group repair center will inspect the pump serial number, and replace the power steering pump if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 12, 2022. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267.
NHTSA campaign record ↗22V665000 · Engine
Reported: 2022-09-01 (September 1, 2022)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2021-2023 Entegra Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, Reatta, Reatta XL, and Jayco Embark motorhomes. The engine air intake box may not have a water drain installed, which can cause water to build up inside the air intake box.
Consequence: Water build up inside the air intake box can enter the engine and cause engine failure, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect and install a drain if necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed October 3, 2022. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903580.
NHTSA campaign record ↗24V061000 · Seats
Reported: 2024-02-01 (February 1, 2024)
Jayco, Inc. (Jayco) is recalling certain 2020-2023 Entegra Anthem, Aspire, Cornerstone, and Reatta XL motorhomes. The pedestal mounting plate on the passenger's seat may be improperly welded, causing the plate to separate and the seat assembly to loosen or detach. As such, these seat assemblies fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 207, "Seating Systems" and number 210, "Seat belt assembly anchorages."
Consequence: A loose or detached seat assembly increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect for a missing weld and replace the pedestal as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 11, 2024. Owners may contact Jayco customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Jayco's number for this recall is 9903602.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
