1 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

25V715000 · Exterior Lighting:Headlights

Reported: 2025-10-21 (October 21, 2025)

Chrysler (FCA US, LLC) is recalling certain 2024-2025 Fiat 500e Battery Electric (BEV) vehicles. The headlight horizontal aim adjustment is not covered as intended, which can result in improperly adjusted headlights. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."

Consequence: Improperly adjusted headlights can reduce driver visibility or create a glare for oncoming traffic, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will install headlight adjustment plugs. Owner notification letters were mailed December 10, 2025. Owners may contact Chrysler customer service at 800-853-1403. Chrysler's number for this recall is A4C. Vehicle Identification Numbers (VINs) involved in this recall will be searchable on NHTSA.gov beginning October 28, 2025.

FIAT INITIATED RECALL LETTER WAS RECEIVED JULY 10TH. LETTER STATED TO CONTACT THE DEALER FOR REPLACEMENT PARTS AFTER JULY 21ST. I CONTACTED THE DEALERSHIP AUGUST 13TH AND THERE IS NO ESTIMATED TIME FOR WHEN THE DEFECT WILL BE FIXED. THE DEFECT CAN CAUSE SUDDEN LOSS OF POWER AND RESULT IN SEVER ACCIDENTS. I FIND IT NEGLIGENT OF FIAT/CHRYSLER BEING UNABLE TO FIX THIS PROBLEM IN A TIMELY MANNER RISKING THE SAFETY OF ITS CUSTOMERS! *TR

I RECEIVED A SAFETY RECALL IN THE MAIL STATING THAT REPAIRS WOULD BEGIN ON JULY 21, 2014. UPON CONTACTING THE DEALERSHIP I WAS TOLD THAT PARTS FOR THE REPAIR ARE DELAYED FOR 6 TO 8 WEEKS. I CALLED FIAT CUSTOMER ASSISTANCE CENTER AT [phone removed] AND WAS TOLD THERE WAS NOTHING THAT THEY COULD DO ABOUT THE DELAY IN OBTAINING THE PARTS FROM THEIR SUPPLIER. BECAUSE A POWER INVERTER MODULE FAILURE CAN "CAUSE A CRASH WITHOUT WARNING" THIS REPAIR TIMELINE IS UNACCEPTABLE.

The vehicle has stalled twice while driving on a fully charged battery. I was using the 1-pedal driving mode (“Range” mode) during both events. When the stall happened, the system applied the brakes and the steering wheel locked, and I was unable to steer. I was able to restart the car after a few seconds each time. The second occurred at 70 mph on the freeway shortly after leaving Rairdon’s Fiat in Kirkland, WA, where I had been told the car was repaired. Both events created a s…

The rear-view camera on my Fiat 500e frequently freezes while I am backing up. This happens at least 3 times per week. The camera image appears normal at first, but then freezes on a still frame while the car is in reverse. This creates a major safety hazard because the display shows a clear path even when something may be behind the vehicle. I have nearly backed into objects because the frozen image does not reflect real-time surroundings. This issue appears to be recurring and not related to weather or driving conditions. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
