The tire had only been on the camper for about 18 months and had less than 1500 miles on it. The tire shredded right in the middle of the tread, and the belt cord completely came apart and blew out. 10 months later, the same thing occurred with the passenger-side rear tire on a state road in Massachusetts. These vehicles contain incorrect tire inflation pressures on the Vehicle Certification Label. Thus, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of the Code of Federal Regulations, Part 567, "Certification."

Consequence: The incorrect tire pressure information given on the Federal Certification Tag and Tire Information Tag may lead to the tire being overinflated, resulting in sudden tire failure, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Forest River will notify owners and will provide a corrected replacement label, free of charge. The recall began on November 25, 2013. Owners may contact Forest River at 1-574-534-3167.

WE HAD NOTE A BIG CUT IN THE VINYL FLOOR. SO WE DECIDED TO REMOVED FOR REPAIR, BECAUSE IT'S NOT COVER BY THE GARANTY, BUT THE DEALER SAID THAT THERE'S A LOT OF PROBLEM THIS YEAR WITH THE FLOOR. (SO THERE'S CLEARLY A PROBLEM WITH THE FLOOR) THEN WE REALIZED THAT THE WHOLE FRONT FLOOR WAS BLACK. WE LOOK AT THE ROOF AND THERE IS SOFT, THERE'S BEEN A MAJOR INFILTRATION OR LEAK OF WATER, BUT IT'S NOT APPARENT IN THE INTERIOR, THAT MAKE A BUMP IN THE FIBERGLASS IN THE EXTERIOR. THE SELLER TOLD US THAT'S ALWAYS THE SAME PROBLEM WITH THE TOP FRONT JOIN…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
