ON OCT 22 WE WERE EAST BOUND ON TEXAS 287 ABOUT 10 WEST OF QUANAH, TX WHEN THE RT REAR GOODYEAR MARATHON TIRE ST235/80 R 16 CATASTROPHICALLY BLEW OUT CAUSING $2783.00 OF DAMAGE TO THE BODY PANELS AND SLIDE MOLDING OF OUR BLUE RIDGE 3125 5TH WHEEL. GOODYEAR MARATHON TIRE PROBLEMS: OUR RV (2014 BLUE RIDGE FIFTH WHEEL) CAME WITH GY MARATHON TIRES (LT235/85 R16 ' 10 PLY). WE HAVE NOW HAD 3 OF THE 4 ORIGINAL TIRES BLOW OUT ON THE HIGHWAY AND THERE IS LESS THAN 4K MILES ON THEM. THE BLOWOUTS OCCURRED AT HIGHWAY SPEEDS ON EITHER INTERSTATE OR MAJOR ROADWAYS. WE HAVE MONITORED FOR SAFETY ON ALL TRIPS TO ASSURE THAT THE AIR PRESSURE IS CORRECT AND THE TREAD LOOKS GOOD. THE BLOWOUTS CAUSED FENDER DAMAGE ON BOTH SIDES OF THE RV AND ALSO BUSTED THE HYDRAULIC LINES THAT CONTROL THE SLIDES, LEVELERS,…

THE SLIDES ON MY FOREST RIVER BLUE RIDGE FIFTH WHEEL CAMPER STARTED OPERATING ON THEIR OWN. IF THE SLIDES EXTEND WHILE TRAVELING THIS COULD CAUSE AN ACCIDENT. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
