Owner report 10349356 · 2010-08-14 (August 14, 2010)
OUR DOGS STARTED TO BARK JUST AFTER MIDNIGHT. MY HUSBAND WENT TO INVESTIGATE WHETHER A BEAR THAT HAD PREVIOUSLY RAMPAGED THROUGH THE GARBAGE CANS OUTSIDE THE MOTOR HOME WE LIVE IN HAD COME BACK. OUR MOTOR HOME, A 2005 GEORGIE BOY CRUISER MASTER 3640 TS, WAS PARKED IN A HOUSEHOLD DRIVEWAY THAT REQUIRES RAMPS FOR LEVELING AT THE TIME. HE FLIPPED THE SWITCHES NEAR THE DOOR TO TURN ON THE LIGHTS; UNFORTUNATELY THE SWITCH TO KEEP THE STEPS RETRACTED IS NEXT TO THE LIGHT SWITCHES AND HE FLIPPED THAT ONE INSTEAD. Recall history
2 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
06V267000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer
Reported: 2006-07-19 (July 19, 2006)
ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES, THE CABINET CONTAINING THE TELEVISION SET THAT IS INSTALLED IN THE OVERHEAD COCKPIT MAY BE INADEQUATELY SECURED.
Consequence: SHOULD THE CABINET FASTENERS FAIL, THE OVERHEAD TELEVISION CABINET AND TELEVISION SET MAY FALL AND COULD CONTACT THE WINDSHIELD, DRIVER, OR PASSENGER INCREASING THE RISK OF A CRASH OR PERSONAL INJURY.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL INSPECT THE CABINETS AND MAKE THE NECESSARY REPAIRS. THE RECALL BEGAN ON JULY 24, 2006. OWNERS MAY CONTACT COACHMEN AT 1-574-825-5821.
NHTSA campaign record ↗06V352000 · Engine And Engine Cooling
Reported: 2006-09-13 (September 13, 2006)
ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES BUILT ON WORKHORSE CHASSIS AND EQUIPPED WITH GM 8.1L V8 ENGINES, IMPROPER HARDENING DURING THE HEAT TREATMENT PROCESS CAN CAUSE THE FUEL RAIL PULSE DAMPER RETAINER CLIP TO FRACTURE, RESULTING IN INADEQUATE RETENTION OF THE DAMPER. IF THE DAMPER BECOMES LOOSE, FUEL COULD BE PUMPED BY THE FUEL PUMP INTO THE UNDER HOOD AREA.
Consequence: IN THE PRESENCE OF AN IGNITION SOURCE, A FIRE COULD RESULT.
Remedy: WORKHORSE IS HANDLING THE OWNER NOTIFICATION AND REMEDY FOR THIS CAMPAIGN (PLEASE SEE 06V225). DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE FUEL RAIL PULSE DAMPER RETAINER CLIPS ON THESE ENGINES FREE OF CHARGE. OWNERS MAY CONTACT WORKHORSE AT 877-294-6773 OR COACHMAN AT 219-825-8528.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2006: 0 complaints · 2007: 0 complaints

Date coverage across each selected cohort

| 2006 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 2007 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
