TRAVELING DOWN INTERSTATE LOST ABILITY TO SLOW DOWN. THROTTLE WAS STUCK OPEN. HAD TO HIT KILL SWITCH AND MOVE INTO EMERGENCY LANE. BRAKE FAILURE DUE TO LINING COMING OFF BACKING PLATE. I WAS DRIVING ALONG, WENT TO STOP AT A LIGHT, APPLY BRAKES AND PEDAL WENT TO FLOOR. I REPLACED THE REAR BRAKES WHERE THE LINING HAD CAME OFF.
