Reported: 1992-07-22 (July 22, 1992)

THE FUEL TANK LEAKED AS A RESULT OF IMPACT TESTING PERFORMED BY HARLEY-DAVIDSON.

Consequence: SPILLED FUEL CAN IGNITE WHEN EXPOSED TO A SOURCE OFIGNITION.

Remedy: REPAIR THE MOTORCYCLES TO AVOID THE FUEL SPILLAGE CONDITION.

I WISH TO HAVE HARLEY RECALL THE BIKES RATHER THEN ISSUE A 5 YR / 50,000 EXTENDED WARRANTY ON THE BEARING. IT DID NOT HAPPEN TO MY BIKE YET.
