22V303000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer:Lpg Systems:Lines And Fittings

Reported: 2022-05-05 (May 5, 2022)

Highland Ridge RV (Highland Ridge) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Mesa Ridge, Mesa Ridge XLT, Mesa Ridge S-Lite, Open Range, Open Range Roamer, and Open Range Lite fifth wheel and travel trailers. The quick disconnect fittings in the LP gas system may be cracked, causing a gas leak.

Consequence: A gas leak in the presence of an ignition source can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the quick disconnect fittings, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 23, 2022. Owners may contact Highland Ridge customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Highland Ridge's number for this recall is 9904577.

22V573000 · Structure

Reported: 2022-08-04 (August 4, 2022)

Highland Ridge RV (Highland Ridge) is recalling certain 2022 Mesa Ridge, Mesa Ridge S-lite, Mesa Ridge XLT, Olympia, Olympia Lite, Olympia Sport, Open Range, Open Range Light, Open Range Roamer, Range Lite, Range Lite Air, Silverstar, Silverstar S-lite, and Silverstar XLT trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

Consequence: An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and repair, or if necessary, replace awning fabric, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 31, 2022. Owners may contact Highland Ridge's customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Highland Ridge's number for this recall is 9904578.

24V299000 · Equipment:Electrical

Reported: 2024-04-29 (April 29, 2024)

Highland Ridge RV (Highland Ridge) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Mesa Ridge TT, Mesa Ridge XLT FW, Open Range Roamer FW, Open Range TT, Silverstar TT, and Silverstar XLT FW trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.

Consequence: A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed May 22, 2024. Owners may contact Highland Ridge customer service at 1-800-283-8267. Highland Ridge's number for this recall is 9904606.

ST225/75/R15. This happen on our new Jayco Ridgeline Light 5th wheel. We ourmaiden voyage with only 50 miles on trailer. We drove home from General Rv to our Brighton home and on our first trip only 20 miles from on home on US 23 total blow out. If you go on Fb and search group Michigan RV camping. Here is another story of the castle rock tires. We traveled to the UP, then to Grayling over a 10 day period. Our 4 hr trip to the UP turned into 7 1/2 when a tire on the passenger side of our 2016 Sandpiper blew, taking out the tire & the paneling…

I HAVE WESTLAKE ST235/80/16R SPEED RANGE L TIRES ON MY FIFTH WHEEL. THE DRIVER SIDE REAR TREAD SEPARATED FROM THE BODY OF THE TIRE. I WAS TRAVELING AT 65MPH WHEN IT SEPARATED. THE TREAD THEM DAMAGED MY FIFTH WHEEL. I HAVE 7500 MILES ON THEM. THE AGE OF MY FIFTH WHEEL IS 1 YEAR OLD. IT PEELED OFF LIKE AN ONION FROM THE OTHER COMPLAINTS I SEE I THINK THEY SHOULD BE RECALLED AND HE MANUFACTURE SHOULD REIMBURSE ME FOR THE DAMAGE.
