"Stop vehicle and check power supply" warning lights accompanied and panic alarm goes off on new 2027 palisade hybrid calligraphy with 72 miles. The passenger rear brake grabs much more than the others which you can barely feel. Johnson Hyundia of Apex,NC, where we purchased the vehicle tell us not to bother bringing it to them because unless it has a fault code or constant message, they can't do anything. Hyundia corporate gave me a case number but acted like they never heard of it happening to anyone else. Reddit posts have at least 20 ot…

My new 2027 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid experienced a hybrid-system/power-supply malfunction with fewer than 500 miles. The Hyundai dealer diagnosed DTC P0C381C on August 28, 2026 and has retained the vehicle since that date. Hyundai Motor America has issued Limited Coverage Campaign LA39, titled “HPCU Warning Light On – HPCU Software Update – DTC P0C381C.” However, Hyundai's communication states that LA39 is currently for impacted dealer-stock vehicles only. It states that already-retail vehicles must wait for a separate campaign that is “pending…

Check hybrid System warning comes on during initial start of the day. First service visit for problem had a bad water pump replaced on 1 of the electric motors at ~400 miles. Dealership said this resolved the problem, but the same problem is now recurring at 780 miles. Don't know how safe it is to drive vehicle.

While driving my 2026 Hyundai Palisade Hybrid, the vehicle has repeatedly applied the brakes suddenly and without warning, especially approaching a specific overpass on my normal route and is fully repeatable. This only happens in the curb lane; the middle and passing lanes are fine. There is no forward collision warning, no detected obstacle, and no driver input when this happens. The braking is abrupt enough to feel unsafe and could cause a rear‑end collision. In addition to the phantom braking, the infotainment screen frequently reboots or …

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

No selected model years have a complete observation window. Choose an eligible year or a shorter window.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.

Components reported together

Each cell counts unique complaints naming both components. Open a nonzero cell for examples.
