I HAVE A SAFETY CONCERN WITH THE FACTORY INSTALLED ROOF RACK SYSTEM ON MY TRAVEL TRAILER. THE WELDS ON THE ALUMINUM TUBE CROSS MEMBERS AND POST THAT MOUNT DIRECTLY TO THE FRAME HAVE ALL CRACKED. THE SCREWS HOLDING THESE PARTS TOGETHER HAVE ALSO STRIPPED OUT WHICH HAS LEFT THE ENTIRE ASSEMBLY LOOSE ON THE TOP OF THE TRAILER. I NOTICED THE ISSUE ONLY AFTER UNLOADING MY KAYAKS OFF THE RACK COMING BACK FROM MY LATEST TRIP. I BELIEVE IF LEFT UNNOTICED, THIS HAS THE POTENTIAL FOR FALLING OFF UNDER LOAD AND WHILE TRAVELING DOWN THE ROAD CAUSING A HAZA…

Twice, my doors have opened on the freeway, both the double back doors and the side door. The doors were double locked (two locks on each door, one, in theory, sort of a deadbolt.) The second time I had a strap on the inside to try to prevent them from opening. I am one of at least 25 people who have had this occur with the InTech travel trailers. I have names of each of them. These incidents happened to the owners of the RVs specifically the 2021 make and model Intech Sol Horizon. These owners reports their incidents on the Facebook page "The Official Intech Sol Horizon" group. Intech RV (The Manufacture) have been contacted and showed pictures of welds and responded that the welds are "completed correctly." Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2020: 2 complaints · 2021: 1 complaints

Date coverage across each selected cohort

|---|---|---|---|
| 2020 | 2 | 0 | 0 |
| 2021 | 2 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
