6 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

21V457000 · Electrical System:12v/24v/48v Battery

Reported: 2021-06-17 (June 17, 2021)

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2020-2021 Land Rover Discovery vehicles. A loose contact between the battery ground stud and the chassis may result in various electrical faults, possibly causing a loss of electrical power or the vehicle to shut down while driving.

Consequence: A vehicle that shuts down or loses exterior lighting while driving increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the ground stud, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed on August 10, 2021. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N607.

The seat belt automatic locking retractors may deactivate early, which can prevent the child restraint system from securing properly.

Consequence: An unsecured child restraint system can increase the risk of injury during a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the seat belt assemblies as necessary, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed October 20, 2021. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is N630.

Reported: 2026-04-17 (April 17, 2026)

Jaguar Land Rover North America, LLC (Land Rover) is recalling certain 2021-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Velar and Land Rover Discovery, 2020-2023 Land Rover Range Rover Evoque, 2019-2024 Land Rover Range Rover Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Range Rover, 2020 Land Rover Discovery Sport, 2020-2024 Land Rover Defender, 2021-2024 Jaguar F-Pace, and 2021-2022 Jaguar E-Pace mild-hybrid electric vehicles (MHEVs). Insufficient electrical load balancing during times of high demand can lead to a current overload condition and malfunction of the DCDC converter. A failure of the DC-DC converter will result in a loss of 12-Volt system charging and can lead to complete loss of drive power and exterior lighting.

Consequence: A loss of drive power increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will update the central software, free of charge. Interim letters notifying owners of the safety risk were mailed June 17, 2026. Additional letters will be sent once the final remedy is available. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's numbers for this recall are D126 and H575.

Consequence: An air bag that does not deploy as intended increases the risk of injury in a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will apply a protective lubricant gel to the driver’s air bag connector terminals, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed August 3, 2026. Owners may contact Land Rover's customer service at 800-637-6837. Land Rover's number for this recall is D120.

Consequence: A rearview camera image that does not display can decrease the driver's visibility, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will drill additional drain holes in the underside of the tailgate trim. Additionally, dealers will inspect and replace the rearview camera as necessary. Repairs will be performed free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed September 10, 2026. Owners may contact Land Rover customer service at 1-800-637-6837. I HAVE HAD A 2016 LAND ROVER DISCOVERY SPORT FOR 6 DAYS NOW. THE VEHICLE HAS A PROBLEM WHILE DRIVING BETWEEN 30 AND 50MPH. DURING THIS SPEED, THE VEHICLE SEEMS TO BE STUCK IN A HIGHER GEAR AND THAT RESULTS IN INTERMITTENT JERKS. THIS MAKES THE RIDE VERY UNEVEN. THE PROBLEM GOES AWAY WHEN THE SPEED IS ABOVE 50MPH. I TOOK THE CAR TO THE DEALER AND THE DEALER SAYS THAT THE PROBLEM WITH EVERY DISCOVERY SPORT. THEY SHOULD STOP SELLING SUCH VEHICLES TILL THE PROBLEM IS FIXED OR LET THE BUYER KNOW THAT THIS IS CASE WHILE SELLING THE VEHICLE.

TRANSMISSION SEEMS TO BE IN WRONG GEAR THEN SHIFTS AFTER A DELAY RESULTING IN CAR NOT RESPONDING TO THROTTLE INPUT THEN JUMPING UNEXPECTEDLY. THIS IS A SAFETY ISSUE WHEN EXECUTING LEFT OR RIGHT TURNS INTO TRAFFIC SINCE CAR DOESN'T RESPOND AS EXPECTED AND NORMAL. VERY EASY TO REPRODUCE THIS ISSUE.

THIS VEHICLE HAS A VERY UNSAFE CONDITION WHEN ACCELERATING AWAY FROM AN INTERSECTION, WHETHER STOPPED OR AT A LOW SPEED, THERE IS A SERIOUS LAG BEFORE ACCELERATION KICKS IN AND THE VEHICLE ACCELERATES. IT'S LIKE THE VEHICLE IS WAITING (WAY) TOO LONG TO DOWNSHIFT AND PULL AWAY, AND WANTS INSTEAD TO SLOOOOOOOWLY BUILD SPEED WHICH IS VERY UNSAFE AT INTERSECTIONS. THE ONLY ALTERNATIVE IS TO FLOOR IT, RESULTING IN UNSAFE AND JERKY ACCELERATION.

The vehicle experienced a DC-DC converter failure with no warning, resulting in a sudden shutdown. The engine lost power, critical systems went offline, and I was unable to shift the vehicle into neutral. The vehicle became immobilized in active traffic, creating a dangerous situation. This incident occurred without warning and left me with no ability to safely move the vehicle out of traffic or rely on normal emergenc…

Immediately after the warning, the vehicle lost power and shut down, leaving me stalled in traffic with no ability to safely move the vehicle out of the roadway. There was no prior warning, no gradual degradation, and no driver-caused condition.
