Owner report 11618076 · 2024-10-04 (October 4, 2024)

Windshield wipers leave approx. 3 inches on drivers side and large area on passenger's side not reached. In cold this could cause visibility problem due to ice or snow. In warm rainy weather it depends on how hard it's raining but this seems to be a safety concern. This has been a complaint by others but no recall to fix the problem.

None of the electronics and electrically-operated functions worked -- the door locks, window controls, hatch release and lights were all dead. And unfortunately I did not have my phone with me so I could not call anyone for help. Even the Lexus Safety Connect system (SOS) did not work. I can see the outside of the bolt but can not see the bolt that bolt that is attached to the wheel and I’m unsure if that part is rusted and I’m afraid that if it is it could make it difficult to remove the bolts. 24V482000 · Seats:Front Assembly:Head Restraint

Reported: 2024-06-27 (June 27, 2024)

Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024 Lexus RX 350, RX 350h, 2024-2025 NX 250, NX 350, and NX 350h vehicles. Toyota Motor Engineering & Manufacturing (Toyota) is recalling certain 2024 RAV4 and 2025 Lexus NX vehicles. Some of the bolts that secure the front brake caliper and the wheel hub bearing may be loose, which can result in a damaged caliper brake hose or possible wheel detachment.

Consequence: A damaged brake line can cause a brake fluid leak, reducing brake performance and increasing the distance required to stop the vehicle. Wheel detachment can result in a loss of vehicle control. Either condition increases the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and tighten the front brake caliper mounting bracket and hub bearing bolts, as necessary, free of charge. In addition, any damaged components will be replaced, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed January 23, 2025. Owners may contact Toyota customer service at 1-800-331-4331. I purchased this vehicle in 2015 - it has been dealer serviced and has never been in an accident. At just under 90,000 miles on the odometer, a major fluid leak started. This failure resulted in an extraordinarily expensive repair, over $2,500.00 at the dealer, Lexus of Greenwood Village (Colorado). It was not covered on warranty.

On [XXX], I tried to move my vehicle from my driveway into the garage. The car would not start, and locked me inside the car. None of the electronics and electrically-operated functions worked -- the door locks, window controls, hatch release and lights were all dead. And unfortunately I did not have my phone with me so I could not call anyone for help. Even the Lexus Safety Connect system (SOS) did not work. I eventually got my wife's attention by honking and she came out and brought my phone (fortunately the horn still worked). She was …

Truck in front had hit brakes so I had tapped mine. Went back to cruise control to maintain distance. I hit the brakes at 0:00:15 when I realized the car was not slowing down. The brakes were palpitating and fighting me the car was not stopping. I could not go right as a car was to my right and if I went left the impact would have been on my daughter’s side and another car was coming on that side as well. Air bags did not deploy, my chest hit the steering wheel (chest impact injury soft tissue), car gave air bag deployment error. The other two…

My vehicle has 11,407 miles on it and all 20 of my lug bolts are rusted. It has been brought to the attention of the dealership and Lexus and their only answer is that Lexus is working on a solution. I can see the outside of the bolt but can not see the bolt that bolt that is attached to the wheel and I’m unsure if that part is rusted and I’m afraid that if it is it could make it difficult to remove the bolts. I was told that they are rusted because the bolts were removed and put back on

My lug bolts are rusted Rusted lug bolts and nuts can create several problems, including difficulty in removal or installation, damage to the studs or nuts, and even the risk of a wheel coming loose. Rust can cause the bolts and nuts to bind together, making it hard to remove them. Additionally, rust can weaken the studs, making them more prone to breakinG. All 20 are rusted The service person at herb chambers recommended they be replaced but they want to charge me $800 and state this could happen again. To requested chrome lug bolts or evenn…

The car 2025 Lexus NX350) hydroplanes on wet roads at normal highway speeds. Last week, my wife hydroplaned into an adjacent lane on I40 in Nashville and could have been injured or worse. The tires that were delivered on the car (Bridgestone Alenza) make it unsafe to drive in wet weather. The issue was reported to the local Lexus dealership and then elevated to Lexus corporate (case 250910001090) but was not satisfactorily resolved.

I purchased a brand-new 2025 Lexus NX 350 from Lexus of Smithtown, NY less than two months ago. At around 1,300 miles, I discovered a large amount of water pooled on the front passenger floor and could hear water sloshing inside the vehicle while driving. I immediately brought it to the dealership for inspection. According to the dealer’s service report dated October 13, 2025, technicians found the A/C drain clogged, removed the carpet from the front passenger area, and confirmed the padding was soaked with water. They recommended replacing th…

With this 2025 Lexus NX350 Premium AWD, the front windshield glass is BADLY distorted. Looking at the road ahead while seated behind the steering wheel, objects aren't clear, they tend to be wobbly as there is a MAJOR safety issue here with the glass itself. My dealer told me that the other 2025 Lexus NX models they checked all have the same distorted windshield problem as mine does. Its so bad, I frankly can't drive the vehicle as much as I want because I get car sick, dizzy, and at times nauseated while traveling down the road. Perhaps it's …

My wife was backing out of a parking space and her car did not give a warning nor did it stop as she hit another parked car. The interior door latch is electronic with a manual lever in case it loses power. The problem is the electronic latch will occasionally malfunctions, and the door is partially open. When this happens, you cannot get the door to open all the way with the electric door latch or the manual door latch. Our 19-month old Lexus NX450h with under 7,000 miles on it was not driven for a week. When we went to start the vehicle this morning, the car would not unlock via the keyfob, credit card key or app. The car required AAA to open the doors and jump start it. The Lexus NX 350 has developed a very strong odor coming from the ventilation system. The smell is consistent with standing water, stale moisture, and/or mold. This is a significant health and safety concern, as I am worried there may be standing water or mold, potentially including black mold, within the HVAC/ventilation system. If mold or contaminated moisture is present, it could potentially be circulated throughout the vehicle and contribute to respiratory irritation or allergy symptoms. I brought this concern to the dealership’s attentio…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison
