This is already related to Mazda's recall #23V-275 BRAKE PEDAL TRAVEL CONCERN. My car was already involved in crash which I firmly believe that it was related to the brake pedal issue since the brakes didn't hold off the car and the brake assist system was never activated during the accident. When looking at the cars in front of you, road signs, road lines, buildings they all had a orange peel/wavy distorted look to them. Reported: 2023-04-18 (April 18, 2023)

Mazda North American Operations (Mazda) is recalling certain 2022-2023 CX-30 and 2023 CX-50 vehicles. The anti-lock brake system (ABS) Hydraulic Control Unit (HCU) may be damaged, which can result in reduced braking ability.

Consequence: Reduced braking ability can increase the distance required to stop the vehicle, increasing the risk of a crash.

Remedy: Dealers will inspect and replace the ABS HCU, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 12, 2023. Owners may contact Mazda customer service at 1-800-222-5500 Option 6. Mazda's number for this recall is 5823D.

I wondered if, after my first service visit on 11-12-25, the dealership put regular leaded gas instead of premium in it, because there was a noticeable difference in gas mileage and the engine started revving pretty high, in my opinion. It also seemed to have less power (which was my main reason foe thinking the wrong gas had been out in). And since then, it hasn't been the same.

On December 26, 2022, after running errands for an hour or so and parking outside in parking lots, I restarted the car and pulled out of a parking lot. 3 dashboard warning lights flashed, one after the other: Engine malfunction, have vehicle inspected; Dynamic stability control malfunction, have the vehicle inspected; Safety and driver support systems partially disabled, drive safely. Vehicle was stuck in high gear and would not shift to lower gear as I pulled into the driveway (fortunately I was close to home), forcing me to have to floor the …

I had both the left front and right front CV axles fail. My car only has 11.5k miles on. I first heard the clunking noise at 11k miles, went right to the dealer and had them watch me recreate the noise and they determined the axles needed to be replaced. This is incredible dangerous as the CV axle could have been completely disconnected from the wheel assembly leaving my car useless and uncontrollable.

I took delivery of a 2022 Mazda CX-30 recently, and noticed that the windshield was very distorted. Moving my head caused the image to shift in unexpected ways. The windshield was noticeably wavy and caused double vision. The new windshield also distorts the active driving display as well, which was not apparent on the original. When I complained about the replacement, the dealer's service manager said tha…

The car randomly starts driving or feeling 'jerky" as if cruise control has taken over - 'phantom braking' is a term I came across that sounds accurate to me. And now, after having the vehicle for almost 30 days- there is significantly less mpg.received. 300 first tank vs about 250 this current tank.

While driving down the road a vehicle in front of me braked to stop for a bus loading kids, as I stepped on the brakes nothing happened and the vehicle surged forward. After the accident I viewed the vehicles onboard system status and it had logged several errors including errors to the activsense driver assist control. I used the vehicle’s emergency assist button and contacted 911, and reported the incident to ride share and contact my spouse. Police report lists the wrong time and vehicle but does have the correct vin number

While coasting slowly through a parking lot at approximately 5-8mph I tapped the brake to slow further while making a tight turn and to safely pass a vehicle also turning towards me.
