Recall history
2 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
01V163000 · Power Train:Driveline:Driveshaft
Reported: 2001-05-09 (May 9, 2001)
VEHICLE DESCRIPTION: MOTOR HOMES. THE DRIVE SHAFT BOLTS CAN COME LOOSE AT THE TRANSMISSION AND FALL OFF. WHEN THE DRIVE SHAFT SEPARATES FROM THE TRANSMISSION, THE FORWARD END OF THE SHAFT CAN DROP TO THE GROUND, OR COME THROUGH THE FLOORBOARDS OF THE MOTOR HOME.
Consequence: THIS COULD LEAD TO LOSS OF VEHICLE CONTROL AND/OR THE DRIVE SHAFT CONTACTING A FOLLOWING VEHICLE.
Remedy: DEALERS WILL REPLACE THE BOLTS. OWNER NOTIFICATION BEGAN NOVEMBER 3, 2000. ALL VEHICLES HAVE BEEN REPAIRED.
NHTSA campaign record ↗07V417000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer
Reported: 2007-09-05 (September 5, 2007)
ON CERTAIN MOTOR HOMES EQUIPPED WITH A TWO-DOOR REFRIGERATOR MANUFACTURED BY THE DOMETIC CORPORATION, THE REFRIGERATOR MAY HAVE A DEFECT IN THE REFRIGERATOR BOILER TUBE. PRESSURIZED COOLANT SOLUTION COULD BE RELEASED INTO AN AREA WHERE AN IGNITION SOURCE (GAS FLAME) IS PRESENT.
Consequence: RELEASE OF COOLANT UNDER CERTAIN CONDITIONS COULD IGNITE AND RESULT IN A FIRE.
Remedy: REXHALL WILL BE WORKING WITH DOMETIC IN ORDER TO REPAIR THESE REFRIGERATORS (PLEASE SEE 06E076). DOMETIC WILL REPAIR THESE REFRIGERATORS BY INSTALLING A SECONDARY BURN HOUSING, A THERMAL FUSE, AND A MELT FUSE FREE OF CHARGE. DOMETIC HAS RETAINED STERICYCLE INC. TO MANAGE THIS CAMPAIGN. STERICYCLE WILL ASSIST THE OWNER IN LOCATING DEALERSHIPS OR SERVICE CENTERS AND WILL PROVIDE ASSISTANCE WITH SCHEDULING OF APPOINTMENTS. THE RECALL IS EXPECTED TO BEGIN ON OR BEFORE JULY 4, 2008. OWNERS MAY CONTACT DOMETIC/STERICYCLE AT 1-888-446-5157 OR REXHALL AT 1-661-726-0565.

Emerging complaint spikes
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
2004: 0 complaints · 2005: 0 complaints

| 2004 | 0 | 0 | 0 |

Date coverage across each selected cohort
| Year | Incident dates used | Filing date fallbacks | Excluded dates |
|---|---|---|---|
| 2004 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
| 2005 | 0 | 0 | 0 |
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
