Overhead Cabinets above the driver and passenger seats above the front windshield have dropped down and bounces as we drive down the highway. Yes, it is available for inspection, I also have pictures. This started in 2019, the left side of the cabinets coming loose. We have tried unsuccessfully to fix the problem ourselves. After much research on the internet, I see where there was a RECALL 23v-121 & 2023-095 for Thor MC 2018-2021 Hurricane & Windsport. TMC recall # is RC000290. WE would like to be added to that recall and have our unit fix…
4 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.
17V758000 · Equipment
Reported: 2017-11-22 (November 22, 2017)
Thor Motor Coach (Thor) is recalling various 2003-2018 recreational vehicles, equipped with Kidde Plastic-Handle or Push Button 'Pindicator' Fire Extinguishers. See a list of the affected trailer models at: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17V758-5764.pdf. These extinguishers may become clogged, preventing the extinguisher from discharging as expected or excessive force may be needed to activate the extinguisher. Additionally, in certain models, the nozzle may detach from the valve assembly with enough force that it could cause injury and also render the product inoperable. For a full list of the affected fire extinguisher models visit: https://static.nhtsa.gov/odi/rcl/2017/RMISC-17E062-5427.pdf
Consequence: In the event of a fire, if the fire extinguisher does not function properly, it can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Thor will notify owners, instructing them to contact Kidde for a replacement fire extinguisher, free of charge. The recall began on January 15, 2018. Owners may contact Thor customer service at 1-877-500-1020, or Kidde customer service toll-free at 1-855-262-3540, or online at www.kidde.com and click on "Product Safety Recall" for more information.

Reported: 2018-10-30 (October 30, 2018)
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2017 Tuscany XTE and 2017-2019 Venetian, Aria, Tuscany, and Palazzo motorhomes built on Freightliner Custom Chassis Corporation chassis. The Power Distribution Module (PDM) may have been damaged during manufacturing, possibly resulting in the rear marker lights, brake lights, or turn signals not functioning.
Consequence: Nonfunctioning lights can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: The remedy for this recall is still under development. Daimler Trucks North America, the manufacturer of the chassis began issuing owners an interim notification on October 24, 2018, and will send a second notification when parts become available. The recall began October 30, 2018. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000163.
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2014-2017 Tuscany XTE (models 34ST, 36MQ, 40AX, 40BX, 40EX and 40GQ), 2013-2018 Tuscany (models 38SQ, 40DX, 40KQ, 40RX, 42GX, 42HQ, 42WX, 44MT 45AT and 45LT) and 2016-2020 Venetian (models A40, B42, F42, G36, J40, L40, M37, R40, S40, and T42) motorhomes. The rear reflectors within the taillight lens may be too high, reducing the vehicle's visibility. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 108, "Lamps, Reflective Devices, and Associated Equipment."
Consequence: The incorrectly positioned reflectors may make the motorhome less visible to others on the road, increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: TMC will notify owners, and dealers will install adhesive reflectors, free of charge. The recall began January 2, 2020. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000180.

Reported: 2020-07-20 (July 20, 2020)
Thor Motor Coach (TMC) is recalling certain 2017-2020 Aria, Venetian and Tuscany, 2017 Tuscany XTE and 2017-2019 Palazzo motorhomes vehicles that received an inspection-only remedy for recall 18V-763. The rear mounted Power Distribution Module (PDM) may have been damaged during manufacturing, possibly resulting in the rear marker lights, brake lights, or turn signals not functioning.
Consequence: Non-functioning exterior marker lights can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: TMC will notify owners, and Daimler Trucks dealers will replace the PDM, free of charge. Owner letters were mailed October 6, 2021. Owners may contact TMC customer service at 1-877-855-2867. TMC's number for this recall is RC000196.

The driver's side window became partially detached while driving on the highway at 60 mph. It threatened to completely detach and fall to the roadway. I was forced to pull over onto the shoulder of I-75 northbound in Florida and tape the window onto the body of the vehicle using Monster tape. The problem was confirmed and repaired at Suncoast Designers, 15050 Labor Place, Hudson FL. However, it occurred 2 more times and has (hopefully) been permanently re-attached this last time by using a different adhesive. This style window is referred to a…
I'VE NOTICE THAT THEIR HAS BEEN A RECALL OR ATTENTION BROUGHT TO THE WINDOW SHADES FALLING WHILE DRIVING. I HAVE HAD 4 DOUBLE WINDOW SHADES FALL TO INCLUDE MY DRIVERS WINDSHIELD ONE WHILE GOING DOWN THE HIGHWAY. I KNOW OF SEVERAL OTHER TUSCANY OWNERS THAT HAD THE SAME THING HAPPEN TO THEM. CAN TUSCANY BE ADDED TO THE RECAL LIST. PLEASE.
FRAMELESS WINDOW DELAMINATING AND FALLING OFF OF VEHICLE. CAN CAUSE SERIOUS ACCIDENT WHILE TRAVELING. I HALTED VEHICLE BEFORE THE WINDOW CAM APART. THE MANUFACTURE OF THE WINDOW WILL NOT REPLACE THE DEFECTIVE PRODUCTS AND CLAIMS NO LIABILITY.

While traveling the outer skin of a lower compartment door folded off. This occurred in heavy traffic during a vicious windstorm. The repair costs just under $7000. During our first trip after the repair, the skin came off again-this time at a slow speed and with normal weather. On your website, there is a recall for the identical problem in the Thor line of motorcoaches but not the Tuscany. October 29, 2021, NHTSA Campaign Number: 21V845 which reads: "A door skin that separates during transit can become a road hazard, increasing the risk o…
THE WINDSHIELD WIPER ON THE DRIVERS SIDE CAME OFF WHILE DRIVING IN THE RAIN. TALKING WITH OTHER OWNERS OF THE SAME TYPE MOTORHOME THIS IS A COMMON PROBLEM. THE ONLY SOLUTION I'VE FOUND IS TO TIE ONE END OF A ROPE AROUND THE WIPER BLADE AND AND THE OTHER AROUND THE MIRROR SUPPORT ARM SO WHEN THE WIPER FALLS OFF IT CAN BE RECOVERED OTHERWISE IT WILL BE LOST. PULLING OVER IN HEAVY TRAFFIC, SUCH AS DOWNTOWN ATLANTA OR ANY BIG CITY, TO REPLACE/REATTACH A WIPER IS NOT A SAFE PROCEDURE AND DRIVING IN THE RAIN WITHOUT A WIPER IS ALSO NOT SAFE. THIS IS …
