Volkswagen Wastegate Turbo Failure / design flaw and “wrongfully and intentionally” concealed a defect from consumers that could cause their vehicle’s engine turbocharger to fail prematurely at any time. Drivers have been unfairly forced to pay thousands out of pocket to repair and my estimate from a VW. dealer is: $4199.21 and I had to pay a $200 diagnostic fee. HELLO. I PURCHASED A NEW VW GOLF ALLTRACK SE FROM OPEN ROAD VW MANHATTAN ON 2/3/2020. THE NEXT DAY, I STARTED NOTICING RATTLING NOISES FROM THE DRIVER SIDE HEADLINER WHEN CAR IS IN MOTION OVER BUMPS AND CORNING AROUND SOFT SHOULDERS. THE DEALERSHIP NOTICED THE SOUND AND ATTEMPTED TO REPAIR THE ISSUE ON 2/17/2020 WITH LUBRICATION. THE CAR WAS RETURNED TO ME AND UNFORTUNATELY THE RATTLING SOUNDS PERSISTS.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
