Owner report 11469981 · 2022-06-19 (June 19, 2022)

Purchased brand new 2022 Winnebago Micro Minnie 2108DS on 6/14/2022. Take it on first camping trip on 6/18/2022. Slide mechanism breaks and pulls slide frame away from side of camper. Slide is stuck partially out. Cut leg due to slide failure. Winnebago customer service is useless and says it’s on us to fix and up to them if they will reimburse! This needs to be addressed ASAP before someone gets seriously injured.

Owner report 11512433 · 2023-03-17 (March 17, 2023)

Spare tire carrier with stare tire sustained metal fatigue and the metal of the carrier bracket tore allowing tire to almost fall off onto highway. Fortunately, a semi driver flagged me pointing to the back of the trailer as he passed me. I had purchased gas 40 miles earlier and there was no identifiable problem. The tire was just barely above the surface of the road when I stopped. I made dealer aware of this that day (May 2nd). They said they reported to Winnebago. I waited to hear from Winnebago and did not so called and emailed them on Marc…

When I ordered my Winnebago trailer on December 9th 2020 the literature from Winnebago said the wheel height could be adjusted and came with 14" tires, (well they said they can make changes without notice.) so when I received my 2021 1808FBS trailer, they change to 15" tires and the tires were off-road which made the trailer a lot higher than standard. They only installed a folding two step from getting in or out of the trailer. Taking a step off the last rung is quite a distance of 14" Folks can get a serious fall if they loose their balance …
