CONSUMER STATES THAT THE THE RIM RIPPED APART LEAVING THE WHEEL IN ONE PIECE AND THE CENTER OF THE RIM STILL ATTACHED TO THE AXLE. A FEW DAYS LATER THEY FOUND A TIRE WITH A SLOW LEAK. CONSUMER DISCOVERED THAT IT WAS NOT THE TIRE BUT A SPLIT IN THE RIM AND AIR WAS LEAKING. *SCC

THE TRAILER TIRES WERE TREDIT (16X60 J.J. DOT CT&6W) WHICH WAS MANUFACTURED ON 06/30/05. NHTSA RECALL CAMPAIGN 05V435000WAS IDENTICAL TO THE FAILURE ON 2006 MODEL VEHICLES. THE CONTACT COULD PROVIDE PICTURES. THE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS 11,000 , AND THE CURRENT MILEAGE WAS 12,000. *AK

HE PULLED OVER AND NOTICED THAT THE DRIVER AND PASSENGER SIDE REAR TIRES SEPARATED. THE ROAD CONDITIONS WERE DRY. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE ARRIVED AND REPLACED THE TIRES. THE TIRE FAILURE MILEAGE WAS APPROXIMATELY 7,700. NO OTHER VEHICLE INFORMATION WAS AVAILABLE. THE CONSUMER STATED THE TIRES BLEW APPROX 200 MILES APART AND DID NOT BLOW AT THE SAME TIME.
