4 distinct campaigns affect this selection. Announcement dates below are different from vehicle model years. A campaign may cover multiple years.

80V055000 · Visibility:Defroster/Defogger/Hvac System:Heater Core

Reported: 1980-05-08 (May 8, 1980) · Model years: 1979, 1980

AN INSUFFICIENT NUMBER OF ATTACHMENT SCREWS MAY HAVE BEEN USED TO SECURE THE SHELF THAT SUPPORTS FURNACE. THE SHELF MAY SETTLE OR COLLAPSE UNDER THE WEIGHT OF THE FURNACE. THIS WOULD, IN TURN, DISLODGE THE FURNACE EXHAUST PIPE.

Remedy: THE DEALER WILL INSTALL ADEQUATE SHELF ATTACHMENT SCREWS AT NO COST TO THE OWNER.

THE AREA SURROUNDING THE GASOLINE FILLER PIPE SHROUD MAY NOT BE PROPERLY SEALED. THIS MAY ALLOW GAS VAPORS TO TRAVEL INTO THE INTERIOR OF THE COACH WHEN REFUELING.

Remedy: THE GAS FILLER PIPE SHROUD WILL BE RESEALED WITHOUT CHARGE.

26V016000 · Equipment:Recreational Vehicle/Trailer:Plumbing:Freeze Prevention Heater

Reported: 2026-01-16 (January 16, 2026) · Model years: 2026, 2027

(Winnebago) is recalling certain 2024-2026 Spirit, Minnie Winnie, Travato, View, Navion, and 2026-2027 Sunflyer, 2021-2026 Commercial vehicle, and 2023-2026 425 Commercial shell motorhomes equipped with a ThermaHeat Tank Pad. The water tank heating pad may experience high resistance and fail.

Consequence: A heating pad failure can increase the risk of a fire.

Remedy: Dealers will install a new water tank heating pad, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 16, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 201.

26V241000 · Exterior Lighting:Retro Reflector

Reported: 2026-04-15 (April 15, 2026) · Model years: 2026, 2027

Winnebago Industries, Inc. (Winnebago) is recalling certain 2027 Suncruiser and 2026-2027 Sunflyer motorhomes. The side reflectors may not have been installed. Remedy: Dealers will install reflectors, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed April 24, 2026. Owners may contact Winnebago customer service at 1-641-585-6939 or 1-800-537-1885. Winnebago's number for this recall is 204.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
