Owner report 11522056 · 2023-05-15 (May 15, 2023)

I was turning left at an intersection on 5/5/23 and the brakes locked up for no reason. As I entered the intersection the vehicle flashed the automatic emergency braking lights and locked up the brakes as I turned left. The lane in front of me was perfectly clear and the sudden stop fortunately didn't cause the vehicle behind me to rear end me. My wife and I were totally shocked and confused why this happened when there was clearly no obstruction ahead of us or reason to lockup the brakes. This is an absolute flaw and could have caused an accid…

Addition to Case #[XXX] Hi: Read the following response from Chevrolet Care at the end of this Email about my braking problem. Take Note That Chevrolet is Admitting that in a case like mine (wet, slippery snow conditions) I only have Basically Two Wheel Braking and those two wheels (tires) are sliding during the complete stop. This happens when driving in town (20 -25 mph) The rear wheels as Chevrolet says have a drag effect, (basically no braking) Chevrolet has created a crash Hazard with this over engineered braking system when used in wet …

The infotainment system of a brand new 2025 Blazer EV is doing blackouts, flickers, and changing commands and requests. While this may sound trivial - and if this system just did the radio - I would agree. However it controls most all the sub-systems of the car from Charging, to Display, to GPS, Environmental, etc. While at home it is just annoying and frustrating - we traveled to VA from FL this past week. Traffic was horrendous due to a closure of I95 in SC - ALL traffic was forced onto 2 lane country roads. Attempting to use the Control…

My retractable sunroof suddenly explosively broke. I was approaching a red stop light at low speed. I heard what I thought was a gunshot or vehicle backfiring. As I drove on, I heard wind whistling. I thought my passenger side window wasn’t closed. I lowered then jraised it. At that point, I heard my sunroof disintegrate. Luckily, the headliner kept the glass from raining down on me. If this had happened at highway speed, it could’ve been a real problem.

Vehicle has only 1650 miles on it. It is driven conservatively especially so during the first 1000 miles of use “break in period”. Was leaving our neighborhood and the vehicle was searching for a gear, revving and jerking. Check Engine light came on. Limped the vehicle slowly back home and contacted dealer. Had vehicle towed to dealer and they diagnosed the issue as a faulty valve body. Part is on national backorder.

In addition and overtime it’s seems this issue may go hand and hand with the lane assist issue that had been known on Chevy models where they either don’t work of they don’t recognize the lanes correctly and they pull although your in the correct lane.i have specifically taken the car in on 3 or more occasions about it disengaging and not driving forward or b…

My bright lights do not go off when oncoming vehicles or vehicles in front of me are close and when they do dim they go on and off. People flash their brights at me causing me not to be able to sleep and this happens even when they turned off of auto. Another item of concern is that the car would lock and unlock and the interior lights would go on and off. This was fixed but it was a line under the front that was not soldered together at the manufacturer is what the Chevy dealership stated.

Multiple warning lights on the vehicle stating the ABS brake system was not functioning, the letters brake showed by the gauges but it was not the parking brake because I put that on to check it and it was a different warning light. The lane assist was not functioning. In January I had the brakes looked at because they are squealing anytime you use them. The brake shop I took it to told me this is a known issue and the brakes are fine and that there was no way to stop the squealing because my brakes still had 80% of their pad. On multiple occas…

My vehicle makes a clunk noise when the vehicle is in motion and i press on the accelerator it also makes a little jerk. This mainly happens @ low speeds and on a incline hill. There some type of oil or grease stains where the cv axle goes into transmission. ive felt my vehicle with less power and pulls to the left. Took the vehicle to chevrolet and they said they couldnt duplicate the issue or the oil leak.
