When I stop and try to turn key off it does not turn to off. Have to turn back on and try shifting neutral and back to park. Then try straightened wheel and eventually key will go to off position and take out key. Started few days ago intermittently and now more often. Mileage is 36317 so warranty if expired. I will not pay dealer for analysis since it should be covered under engine. Also have seen 100s of complaints with this online for 2016 thru 2019.

After completing a right turn with a right turn signal, the vehicle will sometimes signal a left turn for 3 blinks. I believe this is because the turn signal stalk 'bounces' down to the left turn signal area when returning back to normal position from a right turn. This is a safety issue because the vehicle is signaling a left turn when no turn is intended. This could cause confusion to other drivers on the road.

Front passenger headlight assembly is defective with less than 200 miles on vehicle. The defect is allowing excessive condensation in assembly and fogging up headlight brightness and assuming will eventually cause bulbs to prematurely burn out. This in my opinion is a safety concern and issue . Also seems like there is a shortage of the defective headlight assembly.

The Stibilitrack in the truck went out just after 20 minutes of driving in 34 degree rainy weather at 65 mph. Found out that it was the passenger front bearing reluctor had chipped away, which is what the wheel speed sensor reads. Once one those go out, you lose Stibilitrack and ABS. I believe that this is a significant safety issue, and a poorly engineered/designed system. The rear system reads gear which is what should be in the front should have as well, not a "magnetic ring". This should be fixed so that noone gets injured or killed. It's a…

The power steering quits working intermittently. It has always been extremely cold when it happens. So far, it has only happened when the vehicle has been started, then driven. Turning the ignition off, then on, does not fix the problem. So far, it eventually starts working again at a later start up. When it happened before, the problem had resolved itself when I took it to the dealership and they could not determine the cause & simply replaced the battery. The issue is with the transmission not shifting as should. The issue is called Shuddering and seems to be a know isuue. If you google search issues with 2018 Chevy Colorado this is the first issue that comes up. This could cause an accident. If gears aren’t shifting properly and I cannot excel as needed I could be rear ended or cause me not to be able merge into traffic if once accelerating it shudders and causes my speed to slow. All the sensors seem to not be functioning correctly. Doesn't tell me the right measurements for the wheels, gas, over heating. Right front passenger door locks/unlocks when it wants. It chokes up when trying to accelerate. Theres a rattling noise that comes from under the car. First time I took it to the dealership, they stated it was a bolt that had come loose on the exhaust pipe. They placed a new one which lasted a year and a half and now its back to making the noise. I took it again to the dealership, this time they claimed they couldn't f…

HARD/ROUGH SHIFTING UP IN GEARS AND SAME DOWN SHIFTING IN GEARS. SHAKING/JERKING/SHUDDERING AT SPEEDS APX. 20-70 MPH. TRANSMISSION CAN DOWN SHIFT SO HARD, AT TIMES, IT FEELS LIKE SOMEONE HIT YOUR FROM BEHIND. WANTS TO STALL/SLIP SHIFTING UP IN GEARS. SEEMS TO HAVE TOO MUCH FREE PLAY IN DRIVELINE WHILE SITTING STILL SHIFTING FROM DRIVE TO REVERSE. MAKES A CLUNK SOUND.

TRANSMISSION HAS HORRIBLE SHIFTING. HARD SHIFTING AT LOW SPEEDS AND WHEN DECELERATING (FEELS LIKE I WAS REAR ENDED). TORQUE CONVERTER WAS REPLACED. FROM LOW SPEED, IT DOESN'T DOWNSHIFT TO ACCELERATE UNLESS THE PEDAL IS FLOORED. ALSO, THERE IS HESITATION/PEDAL LAG FROM A STANDSTILL, WHICH MAKES IT UNPREDICTABLE WHEN TRYING TO PULL INTO TRAFFIC. THAT PART IS A REAL SAFETY CONVERN.

Occasionally the ignition key cannot be turned to the OFF position and cannot be removed. After shifting to Park, the key can be turned to position 1 (ACC) but will not turn all the way to position 0 (OFF) and therefore the key cannot be removed from the steering column. On one occasion, the driver was not able to remove the key so the key was left in position 1 for se…
