I used to do business with this car but I can not now since we have this safety recall. I took the car to the dealer they said `it should not be problem to fix`. They kept the car for two days and changed my tire did nothing about the safety recall. I had to pay for the tires for a car I can not use. This is unacceptable, they literally played me.

We purchased this vehicle from a dealership in July 2024. The vehicle is only 2 years old and we have taken it to the dealership for repairs on multiple issues within the electrical components two times in one week. The first issue was the lift gate mechanism was failing which drained both of our batteries and the second issue was the horn failed. The horn is a major safety concern. Not to mention the fact that the horn parts are on back order, most likely due to many other malfunctioning horns in the Chrysler voyager. There were no warnings ab…

Steering

I was turning left into a parking lot when my 2020 Voyager steering stopped working while it started to show all warning lights and the wipers went on, then it went dead, had to be towed on a flatbed to the dealership, and after 4 weeks with no solution in sight, I decided to bring it home and research the solution myself, The problem came from the CAN bus connector located above the glove box, any short or voltage fluctuation from the wires out of the can bus causes the car to go into panic mode, sometimes making the steering wheel stop steeri…

The steering wheel sticks when exiting a turn, this can be reproduced on every turn. There is a risk of overcompensating steering if you do not anticipate the steering wheel sticking. There is also a vague spot in the steering when driving in a straight line, the vehicle will drift to one side and when you correct it will drift to the other side. Wheel alignment was checked and tires are in good condition. The dealer inspected the vehicle and confirmed the steering problem, the steering components were replaced by the dealer and this corrected …

In the 2 years that I owned the van I have walked away from the car after a journey and accidentally left the van running 3 times and my mechanic has done it once. 2 of those times it was left running all night. Once it ran out of gas. It seems to happen when I am distracted. The safety issue is that the van has no warning system when this happens and there is a lot of carbon monoxide released into the air. It could be lethal in an enclosed area. Also, note that it is a push button start and I have the key fob with me when this happens, so the…

This van was converted by FR Conversion that is a ADA van outfitter, the rear ramp install covers the factory emergency release switch. The rear lift gate would not work automatically and there was no way to reach factory install emergency release trapping the client in the van. When buying a van they state this is a "add on" and not standard in their build outs. FMVSS 401does not cover vans, nor does NHTSA cover minivans in the emergency release/emergency exit. This is alarming and safety should not be an additional "revenue generator" for a c…

While drivng with the cruise control engaged and encountering a downhill speed increase of about 5 MPH, the transmission kicks down to engage engine breaking. However as the process starts, first the engine revs and will increase vehicle speed by about 5 MPH. An example is cruise set at 60, down hill increases speed to 65, engine rev results in 70 MPH speed requiring heavy braking to regain control. I have tested this without the cruise engaged by shifting from D to L and engaging the kickdown process and engine accelleration in an identical m…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
