LOST ALL BRAKE FLUID FROM THE RIGHT FRONT CALIPER WHILE TRAVELING THROUGH MONTANA. MANAGED TO FIND A REPUTABLE TRAILER DEALER IN HELENA TO FIX THE PROBLEM. WHEN THE MECHANIC CRAWLED UNDER MY UNIT HE SAID THE BRAKE PROBLEM WAS NOT THE ONLY PROBLEM I HAD; THERE WAS A MORE SERIOUS PROBLEM WITH THE SUSPENSION. THE FRONT AXLE WAS READY TO DROP OFF THE FRAME. THE INNER PART OF THE LEFT HANGER HAD BROKEN AND THE RIGHT OUTER PART OF THE RIGHT HANGER HAD A FRACTURE CRACK. IF THE BRAKE FLUID LEAK HAD NOT GOT MY ATTENTION AND THE AXLE HAD DROPPED OFF, THE…

A SHACKLE BOLT THAT HOLDS THE LEAF SPRING TO THE FRAME OF THE TRAILER BROKE. THIS CAUSED THE AXLE TO MOVE FORWARD. LUCKILY THIS OCCURRED AT VERY LOW SPEED (I WAS TURNING INTO A PARKING LOT). WHEN THE AXLE MOVED FORWARD THE TIRE BEGAN TO RUB AGAINST THE SIDE OF THE TRAILER. IF THIS HAD HAPPENED AT HIGHWAY SPEED THE TIRE WOULD HAVE BLOWN OUT AND EXTENSIVE DAMAGE WOULD HAVE HAPPENED TO THE SIDE PANELS OF THE TRAILER. A TIRE BLOW OUT COULD HAVE ALSO CAUSED THE TRAILER TO BECOME UNSTABLE RESULTING IN A POSSIBLE ACCIDENT IF I HAD LOST CONTROL O…

The heavy duty hydraulic front landing jacks for the self-levelling system on my 2015 Mobile Suites RV now drop when the RV is being towed risking a catastrophic accident should they make contact with the road while being towed. As evidenced by any online RV forum and numerous YouTube videos this problem is not unique to my rig. Indeed, the manufacturer has discontinued using this landing gear. I suspect it is because of this issue. Merely search for "front hydraulic jack failure Mobile Suites" online and you will get plenty of evidence. Wh…

On 6 of my Sailun tires the tread separated over the course of 2 years causing over $9,000 in damage to my RV. My insurance company, Progressive took one of the tires to attempt to get Sailun to pay with no results. I decided to contact you since there is a recall on the smaller sailun brand tire with the same problem.

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
