The receiver hitch for trailering is experiencing abnormal metal fatigue and deformation. The motorhome was factory equipped with a receiver hitch that shows a rating of 12,000 lbs and a 1200 lb tongue weight. I have towed both an enclosed trailer with a max weight of less than 4000lbs and a Jeep Gladiator in the flat tow configuration. The Jeep weighs less than 5000 lbs. With both of these towed vehicles being less than 50% of the receivers' rated capacity, I believe there is a manufacturing defect with the supplied receiver hitch. I am c…

The Coach door inner handle broke off which prevented opening or closing the entry door. Based upon comments in the Entegra owners Facebook pages this is a condition other owners have experienced as well.

The mud flaps installed in front of the rear wheels were only fastened at the outer side of the mud flap. The metal subframe has holes for fasteners, however, there is NO evidence that ANY fasteners have ever been attached on the top of the mud flap frame to secure it properly. This results in the mud flaps swinging in and rubbing against the inner tire on both sides of the vehicle. Based on the draft under the vehicle this rubbing can be relatively constant at highway speed. Our vehicle has approximately 18,000 miles on it as our use model res…

The contact owns a 2021 Entegra Accolade RV. The contact stated while driving 60 MPH, the coach was flexing abnormally. The contact heard abnormal popping sounds from where the coach was attached to the RV cockpit. The contact stated no warning light was illuminated. 2021 Entegra Coach Accolade 37TS, The coach entry door flaps terrible going down the road and you can see out it and we fear it will open. We’ve adjusted and tried about everything except for a magnet only available by manufacture if under warranty. The mirrors do not extend out far enough to adequately see down the sides of the vehicle. You mostly see the flat part of the rv that juts out before it makes the turn down the side. In my research which has been a conversation on-line with a few other owners. One owner made the comment that some of these Ford F600’s come with short mirrors and others that have extended arms. The comment was there seems to be no rhyme or reason as to why that’s the way it is. One owner went and bought the Ford oem extended arm mirrors. $500 each out of his…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
