I have received a recall for driver airbag module. Unfortunately I can't get any of my local Chrysler dealerships to repair it. On 06/09/2022 I contacted Daryl at FCA Takata recall information center. He put me in touch with Tim Short Chrysler in Corbin, KY. They went as far as giving me a appointment until they found out it was a class C motorhome. Then they said they could not work on it. Don Franklin in Somerset, KY. Also refused to work on it. I have no other dealer's within 100 miles. I need this resolved.

When I went to change out the headlight bulb, I found the wiring to both headlights were cracked, sheathing missing, bare wires exposed. This poses a fire hazard to the vehicle and occupants.

STOPPED AT GAS STATION TO REFUEL. PUT VEHICLE INTO PARK AND SHUT ENGINE OFF. AFTER REFUELING, STEERING WHEEL WAS LOCKED AND IGNITION KEY WOULDN'T TURN TO UNLOCK IT. COULDN'T RESTART VEHICLE. ROADSIDE ASSISTANCE WAS ABLE TO GET VEHICLE RESTARTED (COST $168). DROVE STRAIGHT TO MERCEDES DEALER. PROBLEM: FAULTY ELECTRONIC STEERING WHEEL LOCK (ESL). ENTIRE STEERING COLUMN HAD TO BE REPLACED IN ORDER TO FIX THE ESL. COST $2,187.40. ONLINE RESEARCH SHOWS THIS IS A COMMON FAILURE AND MERCEDES BENZ HAS NOT ISSUED A RECALL TO FIX IT.

MY INSIDE DUAL TIRE SIDEWALL UNZIPPED AT 60MPH ON MY SPRINTER BASED MINI- MOTORHOME WHILE TRAVELING NORTH ON I-5. NO UNUSUAL EVENTS PRIOR TO HEARING A LOUD BANG. THIS WAS THE FIRST TIRE FAILURE ON MY VEHICLE. ( I HAVE SINCE LEARNED OF DOZENS OF SIMILAR FAILURES ON VEHICLES LIKE MINE USING THE SAME OEM TIRE MANUFACTURED BY KUMHO). MY SPRINTER (AND OEM TIRES) HAVE ONLY 23,300 MILES ON THEM. WHEN THE TIRE BLEW I REDUCED MY SPEED AND HAD THE BLOWN TIRE REPLACED WITH A SPARE AT THE NEXT AVAILABLE SERVICE LOCATION. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
