ALSO WHILE DRIVING I NOTICED THAT THE PASSENGER SIDE WALL IS COMING APART FROM THE FLOOR OF THE RV. HAD THIS CHECKED AND THE MECHANIC SAID THIS IS EXTREMELY DANGEROUS THE FLOOR CAN FALL ONTO THE ROAD. WE CAN SEE THE ROAD FROM BETWEEN THE WALL AND FLOOR. I HAVE TOLD THIS TO FLEETWOOD AND HAVE WRITTEN TO YOU AS WELL WITH NOTHING BEING DONE. SOMEONE IS GOING TO DIE OVER THIS. …

2002 FLEETWOOD TERRA P32 CHASSIS - I HAD TAKEN MY FOOT OFF THE GAS PEDAL AS I APPROACHED AN INTERSECTION ON A FOUR LANE HIGHWAY. I NOTICED THAT THE BRAKE PEDAL WENT TO THE FLOOR AND THE MOTOR HOME WAS NOT SLOWING AS IT SHOULD WITH THIS AMOUNT OF FOOT PRESSURE ON THE BRAKE PEDAL. I WAS ABLE TO SAFELY TURN INTO A PARKING LOT AND THE MOTOR HOME STOPPED DUE TO AN INCLINE. I HAD MY SON GET INTO THE DRIVERS SEAT AND KEEP HIS FOOT ON THE BRAKE PEDAL AS I PLACED WHEEL CHOCKS ON THE VEHICLE. AS IT TURNS OUT, THE AUTO PARK BRAKE HAD FAILED AS WELL (M…

BOTH FRONT BRAKE CALIPERS BECAME CORRODED AND WOULD ONLY PARTIALLY ALLOW BRAKE PAD RELEASE, CAUSING EXCESSIVE HEAT FROM CONSTANT CONTACT WITH THE ROTORS. THIS RESULTED IN BRAKE FAILURE, MELTED ABS SENSOR AND WARPED ROTORS. REPAIR REQUIRED REPLACEMENT OF ROTORS, BRAKE CALIPERS AND PADS. MILEAGE APPROXIMATELY 60000 MILES. REAR BRAKE CALIPERS STUCK THE SAME WAY (SECOND TRIP) AT APPROXIMATELY 65000 MILES, RESULTING IN EXCESSIVE HEAT AND REPLACEMENT OF CALIPERS, PADS AND ROTORS ON THE REAR. THERE WAS NO ACCIDENT OR INJURY ON EITHER OCCASION. I…

WE PURCHASED A 2004 FLEETWOOD TERRA RV. IN JULY OF 2004. DURING THE TEST DRIVE WE DISCOVERED THAT THE VEHICLE WAS DIFFICULT HANDLING AND DRIVING. IT HANDLED LIKE A 40'S OR 50'S TRUCK. THE FRONT END SEEMED VERY LOOSE AND THE VEHICLE WOULD FLY ALL OVER THE ROAD. IT WAS DIFFICULT TO EXPLAIN BUT WE DID POST A COMPLAINT TO THE DEALERSHIP THAT SOLD US THE VEHICLE AND THEY ASSURED US THAT THE PROBLEM WOULD BE ADDRESSED. WE PURCHASED THE VEHICLE AND WHEN WE ASK IF THEY HAD WORKED ON THE FRONT END THEY ASSURED US THAT THE VEHICLE WAS NOW IN GREAT RUN…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
