Owner report 11603578 · 2024-07-20 (July 20, 2024)

Completely locked out of car without any access. No way of unlocking car. I tried via key fob, key pad, approach, mobile app. The locks are completely electronic, so no way to mechanically unlock. Had to call a tow truck to tow it to the dealership where I bought it just a couple weeks earlier. 2 days earlier, an OTA update was installed that was labeled as improving battery optimization. This seems to be what triggered the issue. Many owners of 2023 and 2024 Mustang Mach E's are experiencing the same issue.

While driving the vehicle electrical console started flashing then lost power and stopped dead in the road. The battery was reading between 70% to 80% prior with a range of over 250 miles still available. Due to complete lack of any power the car could not be moved or placed into neutral for towing. It caused a traffic situation blocking 2 lanes of traffic for approximately 4 hours waiting for roadside assistance for jump start and towing. EV's cannot be towed like a regular car and not having access to the electronics made the car like a brick…

Drivetrain and brakes still functioning but without speedometer and state of charge. Was able to turn around and go back home. Attempted reboot, so far nothing has fixed it.

New car making 65-75 db loud constant clunking noises when turning steering at stopped. 1st dealer visit, it said it’s normal because they have other of same model making same noises. 2nd visit, dealer said it’s noises from brake binding and it’s normal and showed me another car of same model making same noises. Problem is not resolved. When brake pedal is pressed, there shouldn’t be binding on new car. Binding means brake pad is slightly touching the rotor when brake pedal is released. Vehicle has a bearing noise in the front. Now vehicle has door fault, transmission not in park, auto hold fault and hill assist not available when driving the car. The car will engage parking brake randomly and when the brakes are wet the brakes will not engage for up to 50 feet. The car has become extremely unsafe and unpredictable. Ford’s road side assistance keeps delaying any tow and finally had to cancel the tow as I have to work. Need help badly with this!

After backing out of the driveway, our Mach-e started accelerating without putting my foot on the accelerator. Car literally was just getting faster and faster without me doing anything. When I did press the accelerator after the stop sign to the entrance to our neighborhood, nothing happened and the car just rolled forward. Took my foot off the right pedal and it started accelerating again. Got out to the main road, had to pull over, and rode the brake back home. In short, the car accelerates without pressing the accelerator.

It is supposed to charge at 7KWh but it drops 3Khw after few minutes charge. I switched to new Ford mobile charge, but it is faulty, too. Ford says its overheating issue but it happens during the winter season, too. I am concerning it might have faulty electric design and cause the fire at home. Dash completely turned off. We could not see speed, gear, battery life, etc. See attached photo of the dash board above the steering wheel. Tried turning car off and on, tried resetting the monitor. Dealership service advisor witnessed this. The technician could not replicate it, and they did not have a solution but it is now back on. Worried it may happen again, opened up a buy back claim but dealership thinks we don’t have a strong case since they couldn’t find anything.

I am the owner of a 2021 Ford Mustang Mach-E affected by Recall 25S65 involving a 12V battery discharge issue that creates a serious entrapment hazard. If the 12V battery fails, the front doors can remain locked, even if someone exits using the mechanical release. This puts me and my family at risk of being locked inside or outside the vehicle in dangerous situations. I live in Texas, and I have two young daughters, both in car seats. The idea that this vehicle could trap us inside during a power failure, especially in Texas heat, is terrifying.…

Everyday I drive the vehicle There are 2 error messages 1. Front Camera fault, service required 2. Pre-collision Assist not available I have 32 Pre-collision warning messages in the last month, one for every day I drive. I had to drive 4 hours with no cruise control causing my leg to cramp at the 2 hour mark. There needs to be a recall for this issue. Many many other owners of the Mach-e have mentioned the same.

On 5/14/2025 at aprox 5:35pm I was completely stopped in traffic when all of a sudden my car started to accelerate without me pressing on the accelerator. I pressed the brake pedal, however the car continued to move forward, by this time the brake pedal was pressed to the floor and the car was continuing to more forward. I was stopped aprox 6 feet behind a semi truck, and ended up crashing into the back of the semi. The car continued to surge forward, even though my car was pressed against the back of the semi.

I was proceeding to drive home from an appointment with a friend, the car suddenly lost power and I had no control over anything. I was able to keep the steering wheel in the locked position trying to get to the side of the road. Thankfully the speed was only 25mph, as someone had just switched lanes and came in front of me. I was in the process of turning to enter the highway. I've been having a problem with this car since I purchased. I told Ford after this incident, that I fear to drive the vehicle with my family, because that's how scared …

The HVBJB failed on my 2024 Ford Mustang Mach-e. I first noticed a dashboard warning regarding a powertrain malfunction when I tried to start the car about a half-hour after we returned home from an approximately 170-mile drive five days ago. The warning said it was a powertrain malfunction and to get service soon. The car started an hour later and I was able to drive it to the Ford Service center where I bought the new car only last June. There they diagnosed the problem with this language: "HV JUNCTION BOX - FOUND P0AA1:68 AND P0AA1:00 TO…

When pressed, pads should firmly grip the rotor. Not grip…

The exact failed component is unknown to me at this time, but the issue appears related to the vehicle’s electrical system. Prior to the incident, I received a charging error notification while the vehicle was plugged in. I unplugged the charger from the wall outlet, waited briefly, and plugged it back in. Later that same day, the vehicle entered a no-start condition and would not start despite repeated attempts over approximately two hours. The vehicle is available for inspection upon request. The vehicle left me stranded at night for appro…
