IN EARLY SEPTEMBER 2018 I TOOK MY 2015 FOREST RIVER GREY WOLF 23DBH TRAILER TO A SERVICE CENTRE FOR WINTERIZATION. AT SERVICE CHECK-IN IT WAS NOTED THAT THE RUBBER GASKET AROUND THE SLIDE-OUT WAS COMING OUT. WHEN THE DEALER INVESTIGATED THEY FOUND THAT THE FRAME WAS FAILING, CAUSING THE WALL TO DROP. THIS WAS CAUSING THE SLIDE-OUT TO DROP. THE SLIDE WAS NOW SCRAPING ALONG THE INTERIOR FLOOR DESTROYING THE FLOORING. THE DEALER'S INVESTIGATION FOUND MULTIPLE PLACES IN THE FRAME WHERE IT WAS FAILING. PICTURES ARE INCLUDED WITH THIS SUBMISSION. THE…

PURCHASED A BRAND NEW TRAVEL TRAILER FROM GANDER OUTDOORS. TOOK THE CAMPER OUT ON THE FIRST TRIP AND HAD A MASSIVE TIRE BLOW OUT. WE WERE TRAVELING ON A RURAL HIGHWAY, HAPPENED TO NOTICE SMOKE FROM THE SIDE VIEW MIRROR THEN SAW PIECES OF RUBBER FLYING EVERYWHERE. MOVED AS QUICKLY AS POSSIBLE TO THE SIDE OF THE ROAD. THIS A NOT A SINGLE ISSUE, MOST FOREST RIVER OWNERS HAVE COMPLAINED. THIS IS A MAJOR SAFETY ISSUE. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
