21V442000 · Suspension:Critical Fasteners
Reported: 2021-06-11 (June 11, 2021) · Model years: 2021
Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021 IBEX travel trailers. The shackle nuts may have been insufficiently tightened during production.
Consequence: Loose shackle nuts can fall off the shackle bolt, causing the axle to detach and increasing the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will tighten shackle nuts, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed June 24, 2021. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-642-3119. Forest River's number for this recall is 77-1361.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2021-2022 Forest River Cardinal, Wildcat, 2018-2019 Cedar Creek, 2021 Columbus, 2023 Continental Cargo, 2021-2024 Dynamax DX3, Dynamax Dynaquest XL, Dynamax Isata, Forest River IBEX, 2022-2024 Dynamax Europa, Forest River NOBO, 2022-2023 Forest River Sandstorm, Shockwave, Stealth, and 2021-2023 Dynamax Force trailers. The LED backlight circuit board in the cooktop range may fail, causing the board to overheat.
Consequence: A circuit board that overheats increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will disconnect and cut the circuit powering the LED backlights and terminate the wiring, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed by May 14, 2024. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022 Prime Time Avenger, Crusader, Lacrosse, Ozark, Tracer, Sanibel, East to West Della Terra, Silverlake, Forest River Cherokee, Flagstaff, IBEX, RPod, Rockwood, Salem, Sierra, Sandpiper, and Wildwood fifth wheel and travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.
Consequence: An awning that drops or extends beyond normal operation can increase the risk of injury.
Remedy: Forest River will replace the awnings, free of charge. Owner notification letters are expected to be mailed August 17, 2022. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2023 Coachmen Catalina, Cross Trail, Pursuit, Sportscoach, East to West Della Terra, Silver Lake, Forest River Forester, FR3, Sunseeker, Wildwood, 2022 Coachmen Adrenaline, Apex, Brookstone, Chaparral, Chapparral Lite, Clipper, Freedom Express, Independence Trail, Mirada, Spirit, Viking, Work and Play, East to West Ahara, Tandara, Forest River Aurora, Cardinal, Cedar Creek, Cherokee, Flagstaff, Georgetown, Ibex, Impression, Ozark, Puma, R-Pod, Rockwood, Sabre, Salem, Sandpiper, Sandstorm, Shockwave, Sierra, Solera, Stealth, Stealth Evo, Surveyor, Vengeance, Vibe, Wildcat, XLR Toyhauler, Prime Time Avenger, Crusader, Lacrosse, Sanibel, Tracer, Shasta Oasis, and Phoenix fifth wheel and travel trailers. The electric retractable awning has a welded seam on the fabric that may separate, potentially allowing the awning to drop beyond normal operation.

Remedy: Dealers will replace the fabric roll or complete awning, as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed August 17, 2022. Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2022-2024 No Boundaries (NOBO), and 2023-2024 RPOD, and IBEX trailers. The fasteners for the independent suspension may loosen, allowing the independent suspension to detach.
Consequence: A detached independent suspension can increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will inspect the fasteners and replace or secure them as necessary, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed February 20, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-642-1612. Forest River's number for this recall is 51-1727.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2024 IBEX and No Boundaries travel trailers. The recessed space heaters may have been installed too close to the ceiling.
Consequence: Inadequate clearance around the heaters increases the risk of a fire.
Remedy: Dealers will reinstall the heaters, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed March 15, 2024. Owners may contact Forest River Customer Service at 1-574-642-1612. Forest River's number for this recall is 91-174.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2025-2026 NOBO, Ibex, and 2025-2027 RPOD recreational trailers. The 110V circuits on the distribution panel may be mislabeled, which can result in electrical shock.
Consequence: Electrical shock increases the risk of injury.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the circuit labels, free of charge. Owner notification letters were mailed July 20, 2026. Owners may contact Forest River customer service at 1-574-825-0856. Forest River's number for this recall is 47-2072.

Forest River, Inc. (Forest River) is recalling certain 2027 Unmapped, Sabre, No Boundaries, Ibex, Surveyor, Sierra, and Sandpiper travel trailers. The Federal Placard may state an incorrect fresh water tank capacity. As such, these vehicles fail to comply with the requirements of Federal Motor Vehicle Safety Standard (FMVSS) number 110, "Tire Selection and Rims."
Consequence: Incorrect water tank capacity information can allow the vehicle to be overloaded and increase the risk of a crash.
Remedy: Dealers will replace the incorrect label, free of charge. Additionally Forest River will mail corrected labels to owners. Owner notification letters were mailed in August 18, 2026. Owners of Surveyor, Ibex, No Boundaries and Unmapped trailers may contact customer service at 1-574-642-3119, or Sabre owners may contact customer service at 1-260-499-2100.
