The servicing dealer identified a faulty injector wiring harness. A national backorder caused a delay in repair. I do not have the part. The dealer retained. I was driving at highway speeds on the interstate and every possible warning light came on the dash. On September 9th at approximately 5:00 pm, my wife and I left Augusta and headed to Atlanta to attend an event. While driving highway speeds of about 70-80mph, the vehicle began to decelerate rapidly and then shifted itself into neutral gear. Unable to shift back into drive, I was forced to maneuver my slowing vehicle onto the shoulder of the highway, placing myself and my wife in danger of colliding with the other vehicles who were still travelling at highway speeds. After pulling over onto the shoulder, I was able to shift the vehicle into pa…

Owner report 11519875 · 2023-05-01 (May 1, 2023)

Transmission shifting gears sporadically between 49-57 mph and 19-24mph. If I’m driving at 53 mph, I take my foot off the gas and slow down to 50 mph, when I start to slowly accelerate again, it jerks and makes a loud noise as if the transmission has trouble shifting. Took it to the dealer 3 times now. First time they said they can’t find anything wrong. Second time they replaced a valve body that supposedly would fix it. It didn’t. Third time they couldn’t find anything wrong with it. I don’t feel safe driving around my 3 kids all the time.

The heads up display starting with the 2022 model removed the colored lane departure warning from the sides of the road graphic that is in line with the road and moved it to a very small display to the left side of the driver's field of view. Now to see the lane departure warning requires a shift of the driver's view to the left and a head tilt if wearing progression bifocals. Hello, I’m calling about the GM transmission recall recently announced in March 2025 affecting 2020 Yukon vehicles. My Yukon experienced what I believe is the exact same issue described in the recall. Our vehicle lost forward gears and almost caused a crash. A certified mechanic confirmed the transmission fluid was burnt and full of clutch material, with internal transmission damage. We are asking for this to be handled under the recall, as the issue directly matches GM’s known safety defect. We need this resolved immediately , the vehicle is…

A/C system draining into drivers side floor area. Water from the A/C system is not draining properly and causing water to collect under the carpet on drivers side, leading to mold, bacteria and potentially harmful to people with respiratory issues. After researching various Internet forums, this seems to be a common issue in 2021 Yukon and Tahoes. The dealership will be investigating the issue tomorrow.

On prior year models the colored warning provided an early alert well before the seat vibrates as the warning. Taking my vision off the road caused me to come up on a …

Filling this vehicle with diesel fuel per the manufacturer's user manual instructions results in a fuel leak centered between the rear wheels from somewhere at the top of the fuel tank. This has occurred during almost all fuel fill-up stops over the last year. The local dealer could not find the problem. A similar issue occurred with the 2021 diesel Yukon which has the same fuel tank as verified by part number. This was quietly remedied under warranty by the manufacturer.

On January 21, 2024, my family and I went to lunch. As we proceeded to leave to return home when I pressed the brake the braking system, traction system, and forward collision systems all failed simultaneously, causing me to be unable to stop the vehicle which caused it to go through a stop sign while the brakes were fully depressed. Luckily, we were still in a parking lot, traveling only 5 MPH. There was no oncoming traffic as we rolled through the stop sign. The following Error Messages Displayed on the Dash Info Screen Brake System Failure…
