While driving over railroad tracks, heard a huge thump, then scraping coming from underneath of carriage near rear seats. Today, when driving, I smelled gasoline when I opened the car door. Looked underneath carriage and a huge piece of metal has fallen down and my gas tank is pouring out gasoline onto the concrete. I had a full tank of gas in the car. There is gasoline dripping and pouring out of the undercarriage and is all over the undercarriage and the concrete driveway where I parked.

The wireless charging pad does not work, no matter what position the phone is. I have tried with the case off, so that's not the issue. And I've also tried multiple phones. It pretends to power on and start charging but then it stops in less than a minute, even WITHOUT driving the car....so the phone has no chance to move.

I purchased a 2025 Honda Ridgeline and noticed that the turn signal is hardly audible. If you have the radio on or the windows rolled down, you will not hear the warning tone. In the infotainment system there is an adjustment that allows you to raise the volume of the warning indicator and even at the highest volume you can barely hear it. I also found that I am not alone and that this ia a common problem with some Honda models. Every other car I have ever owned made a mechanical or audio tone to warn that the signal light is active. My 2018 Honda Ridgeline began to make a loud knocking noise from the lower motor. I bought this vehicle last June with 47k miles on it. The vehicle has prompted me twice to change the oil. Both times I changes the oil myself within two days of the car warning stating I had 15% life of the oil. At the same time as the indicator light lit I began to notice the knocking sound. I change the oil the very next morning only to find the noise getting louder. The car is at the dealer now and the dealer is fighting me tooth and nail not to cover the work…

When the vehicle is in drive, stopped on a steep hill, and allowed to slip backward the software puts the transmission in neutral and shuts of the engine off. This leaves the vehicle coasting backwards with very little steering or brakes. This happened to me and I coasted backward across a street before I could get it stopped. If a car had been coming it would have hit me sideways. I can reproduce this in drive forward or in reverse, and I reproduced this in a second 2021 Ridge Line truck. There is no warning or message.

The February 2022 edition of Consumer Reports, page 19, identifies 2017-2020 Honda Ridgeline (and others) as having a faulty Hood Latch that could release as the vehicle is in motion thereby blocking the driver's view of the road. I cannot find any evidence on your website or that of Honda's about a recall or a fix for this issue. Please look into this matter and get back to me as soon as possible. While trying to feel for the composite bed release button underneath the tailgate with the tailgate closed, the sharp composite bed of the truck lid sliced my finger open. The manufacture should have at least chamfered the edge of the trunk lid or installed a guard or trim piece that would prevent contact with the razor-sharp fiberglass-reinforced plastic material.

The paint on all four doors of my 2022 Honda Ridgeline Black Edition - White Pearl is cracking at the seam where sealant is applied, with visible rust beneath. This issue began at approximately 32,000 miles, within the warranty period. The cracks have worsened over time, and I’m concerned about potential corrosion and structural weakening of the doors.
In March 2025, I reported the issue to my local Honda dealer, who confirmed the cracks and instructed me to obtain repair estimates at their body shop. By May 2025, the regional Honda rep denie…

Both Drivers and Passenger doors won't unlock or open without significant' force. This only occurs sometimes but has happened many times over the last year. I have had witnesses (son's) in the car when this happens. It seems like the door locking solenoid is holding the doors locked and both pulling the handle and tryin to flip the unlock switch are difficult. The risk here is in a crash or fire, someone without strength, won't be able to exit the vehicle. I video'd this on 27Apr24 (can provide if requested).

I am the owner of a 2026 Honda Ridgeline, which I have owned for approximately seven months. Since taking delivery, the vehicle has emitted a persistent, very strong chemical odor consistent with volatile organic compound (VOC) off-gassing. This is distinct from a mildew or air-conditioning-related odor; the smell is present throughout the cabin interior as well as in the truck bed well, and does not correlate with AC use. In an effort to resolve the issue, I have kept the vehicle parked outside (not in an enclosed garage), with the bed well le…
