I am filing this complaint because this vehicle has had multiple intermittent safety-related electrical/software and driver-assistance problems, and the vehicle is available for inspection upon request. While driving on the interstate, the vehicle went into “limp” mode and showed a turtle on my screen. From there, my vehicle decelerated drastically from 80 to 40 and did not allow me to accelerate. The screen showed a message that stated the systems were shutting down. My vehicle continued to decelerate as I tried to get to a safe spot out of the interstate lanes. After “resetting” the vehicle and waiting approx 20 min, the vehicle turned on as if nothing happened. This has happened 3 separate times in the span of a month.

1) Keyless entry/auto lock/unlock has been an issue since we leased the car, and it remains. CarPlay maps on the dashboard are not in sync with reality (even on the short ride home) often displaying the steering wheel icon and/or “0 m” directions that make no sense with the reality of where I was driving. After a brief stop on the way home, I turned the car on and the emergency brake initiated itself, as it so often has since we leased the car. This is made even worse by the fact that they turned off a collision safety feature to fix this issue…

I am reaching out regarding ongoing safety and reliability concerns involving my 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S Launch Edition, leased in March 2025 from SMG Automotive Holdings, LLC in Brooklyn, New York. I previously pursued arbitration through NCDS; however, the case was dismissed after I accepted a settlement related to issues occurring before March 31, 2026. Unfortunately, the vehicle’s problems have continued beyond that date. Within months of leasing the vehicle, it became completely inoperable late at night and would not start, leaving me stran…

On XXX I picked up my vehicle from Sames Bastrop Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram ([XXX]) after a six-week repair visit (XXX). The dealer's paperwork states two open NHTSA recalls were completed on this visit: 26V-141 (liftgate hinge cover) and 26V-262 (instrument panel cluster software). The same day, when I started the vehicle, the instrument panel cluster did not illuminate. While driving in my neighborhood at low speed, the vehicle lost acceleration, the brakes became unresponsive for a period, and a warning message instructed me to pull over immedi…

On XXX I was unable to turn off my vehicle and could not shift it into any gear. The vehicle had to be towed to Sames Bastrop Chrysler Dodge Jeep Ram ([XXX]) for repair, RO #XXX. The dealer's diagnosis noted the high-voltage battery at 3 percent charge and referenced TSB 08-128-25. The correction involved disconnecting the 12V battery and reprogramming multiple control modules (BPCM, MCPA, MCPB, EVCU, IDCM). No crash or injury occurred. Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.

No selected model years have a complete observation window. Choose an eligible year or a shorter window.

Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.

On Thursday, August 7th, 2025 at approximately 6:51pm while driving my 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S the vehicle lurched forward suddenly while coming to a stop (below 5mph at the time of the lurch). Following that, multiple service lights illuminated on the dash including a large red turtle with a message that "Vehicle power may be diminished". When I went to accelerate from the stop the vehicle was sluggish and slow to respond to throttle input, but then with absolutely no throttle input began accelerating on it's own. While maneuvering at low speed into my garage, the vehicle accelerated forward beyond my intended input and in a manner inconsistent with a controlled parking maneuver. This resulted in famage to the front end of the vehicle, a tool bench containing equipment and the wall of the garage (interior and exterior).

My 2024 Jeep Wagoneer S has experienced repeated electrical and drivability failures. Most recently, while driving at approximately 16,500 miles, the vehicle displayed “Service Electric Vehicle System” followed by “Stop Safely – Vehicle Will Shut Off Soon.” The warning appeared while the vehicle was in motion, creating concern that the vehicle could lose propulsion or shut down unexpectedly in traffic. This was not the first serious incident. On a prior occasion, the vehicle made loud clicking and clacking noises and later became disabled in d…

The high-voltage propulsion system and Battery Pack Control Module (BPCM) failed. The vehicle suffered an abrupt drop in power, overriding driver input and forcing it into "turtle mode." The vehicle is currently un-diagnosed and available for inspection at the Jeep dealership. My safety and the safety of others were put at immediate risk. The vehicle suffered a sudden loss of acceleration in live traffic. What happened? We own a 2025 Jeep Wagoneer S (EV). Since delivery, the software has been unpredictable and dangerous. On day one (18 miles), delivery was delayed for a frunk latch failure requiring a total factory computer reset. The most terrifying event was when the brake and gas pedals "swapped" actions while my husband was driving our three sons. The car sped up when braking and stopped when hitting the gas. The vehicle has also "bricked" (lost all propulsion) twice in traffic with zero warning, nearly causing collisions. Charging fails fr…
