The front brakes of the machine are inconsistent in how much lever effort is required to get the bike to stop. At slow speed, there is sometimes not braking force when pulling the brake lever. At slow speed, there is sometimes a tremendous amount of braking force when pulling the lever. At high speeds, the brakes are often good and work as expected. While commuting by highway to my place of work - motorcycle surged and "Low engine oil pressure" warning came on display. Immediately shut off motorcycle and attempted to maneuver the bike to a safe place to stop while avoiding traffic. Upon investigation, visually found low engine oil level, but no oil leaks present anywhere. Refilled oil to correct level on sight-glass, and attempted to restart engine, but engine presented with serious knock and "bad" sounds. Immediately shut down engine and trailered motorcycle to authorized service center.

While driving the motorcycle at random times the engine stops running and looses power. The motorcycle has been looked at by a dealer multiple times and found no issues. The motorcycle screen goes blank and reboots. That is when it looses power. The screen when it reboots flashes a red bar at bottom of screen that first says TC failure, then changes to ECU failure. The Engine warning light is displayed as well as the TC warning light. Sometimes it stays running other times it shuts off. This problem has been going on for several months e…

Emerging complaint spikes

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.

This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.

No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.

Equal-age model-year comparison

Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
