On several occasions the motorcycle stalls and the engine cuts off when coming to a stop from highway speed as you approach an intersection, stop light, stop sign creating a hazardous and dangerous condition
Engine constantly stalls when coming to stop. It has stalled at stoplights and intersections when trying to takeoff. It’s also stalled when coming to a stop with the clutch in the engine dies. I have been riding motorcycles for 50+ years. It’s been to the dealer several times and it still does it. Install several times every time I take it for a ride.

On several occasions the motorcycle stalls and the engine cuts off when coming to a stop from highway speed as you approach an intersection, stop light, stop sign creating a hazardous and dangerous condition
1. The Turn Signal Malfunction indicator is randomly triggered. Observation indicates this occurs when the ambient temperature is under 60 degrees. When the error code is displayed, the turn signals are non-functional. 2. The first time this occurred I was several miles from home at dusk. I had to turn onto and off of a highway without turn signals. At that time of day hand signals are not easily seen. This is dangerous. 3. This is the second bike my dealer has recently sold with this issue. The dealer left my bike in an unheated area …

The bike is prone to stalling as you come to a stop and are pulling in the clutch. It can happen without warning. There is also an issue with the side stand. It stacks out pretty far and if your boot touches it can kill power delivery leading to a sudden loss of power.
in certain comditions when using the turn signal a yellow "turn light will pop up on the screen and the blinker fail to function properly. if that pops up all blinkers stop working

The bike has 400 miles on it. While riding the motorcycle on the highway (route 24 in MA) going 60 MPH, the spring of the side stand disconnected and the side stand extended and dragged on the road. Since the bike was in gear, the engine immediately stopped. I was lucky there was no car to my right and I was able to safely stop at the side of the road and use a zip tie to hold it up. I took the bike to the dealer and he said there are no recalls on the bike. Looking on-line I see similar complains and a recall and full change to the side stand …

When fully warmed up the engine will cut out the moment the throttle is applied, seemingly misfiring - sometimes 3 times in a row after restarting. Sometimes this will happen at low speed, either with a clang from early detonation or completely stalling the bike when riding at low rpm. Off-road - this is particularly dangerous when traversing obstacles as sudden loss of forward momentum will affect control of the motorcycle, sometimes in precarious places. On road, especially dangerous if the engine cuts out while accelerating from a stop i…
Vehicle frequently stalls or engine stops suddenly. Engine will "knock" and suddenly stall when engaging the clutch while providing throttle to begin riding. It will stall when engaging the clutch to downshift into lower gears while coming to a stop. This has happened at busy roadways at red lights, stop signs, and even when slowing down to navigate a turn. Engine may stall while in neutral and throttle is applied. Typically a short rattle or what sounds like valves knocking, is followed by a backfire, prior to stalling. There is no way to prev…

I have a 2025 KTM 390 Adventure R with 4500 miles on it. Numerous times the E-throttle has lost throttle response mid-ride, the engine drops to idle and the check engine light comes on. After pulling over, I restart the engine and it works as normal. It has happened on the freeway and was difficult to pull over to the side to remedy the problem. I called several KTM dealers and they said they have never heard of such a problem. I researched the problem online and found recall #25v598 which was for 2022-2024 KTM 390 Adventure. It was for a f…
Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
No selected model years have a complete observation window. Choose an eligible year or a shorter window.
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
