Lincoln system failure - My wife and I were coming home from a trip driving on Interstate 20 at 75 MPH with the cruise control and steering assist on. Traffic ahead was slowing quickly. Normally when approaching slower vehicles the cruise control will start slowing my Lincoln long before the set following distance is reached. I usually just let the cruise control slow me down. When I realized the cruise control wasn’t slowing me I applied the brakes and nothing happened. Even the engine kept power on. I steered into the emergency parking lane p…
Seat has easy exit/entry memory function. As soon as the door is unlocked the driver's seat moves forward and the steering wheel moves down to the drive position. Then it is difficult for the driver to get in. An elderly driver with poor balance could fall and get injured trying to get in.
Message the car sends "Remote features disabled to preserve battery" Your Nautilus has enter Deep Sleep to remedy the problem you much drive it. I drive my lincoln nautilus everyday and I get this message at least once a month. The car has completely died twice, no power, you can't even open the car doors nor trunk with key. You have to take the key apart and put it in a small hole on the door to open the car up. In March 2025 I was in NC for a funeral with my disabled Mom, we check out of the hotel, go to get in the car, completely dead, had t…

While using the Ford BlueCruise system the Eye Detection monitor is not detecting that I am looking forward while driving and frequently goes first to the "Watch the Road" initial warning, which is supposed to clear by pressing the OK button on the steering wheel. Several times clicking the OK does not clear the initial warning and then the vehicle goes into a more active response by suddenly braking with the Resume Control warning which is supposed to deactivate when you press the gas pedal, however in one instance the system did not deactiv…

The contact owns a 2025 Lincoln Nautilus. The contact stated while driving at an undisclosed speed, the panoramic and center display went blank, failing to display critical safety information. The vehicle returned to normal functionality, but the failure became a regular occurrence. No warning lights were illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to the dealer or an independent mechanic. The vehicle was not repaired. After investigating the failure, the contact related the failure to NHTSA Campaign Number: 25V337000 (Electrical System, Equipment),…
While driving on the highway the front portion of our sunroof randomly shattered. There was no proceeding noise or hit from debris. The glass shattered upward with a large noise as if it exploded. The service personnel at the Lincoln dealership in Layfayette, LA inspected it and suggested it looked as though it exploded from inside possible due to pressure due to the direction of the remaining glass pointing upward.
right sideview mirror folds and unfolds without warning. On two occasions while driving on the interstate mirror folded on its own. While car was parked and turned off right side mirror folded on its own. My safety was at risk because I couldn't see oncoming cars while trying to get off road to address the problem. Took vehicle to dealer and was told that there wasn't a problem. Has not been reproduced at this time. Vehicle has not been inspected at this time, have appointment to have vehicle checked by dealer although I was already told by d…
Pre-collision doesn't seem to be working in these vehicles. Update was to be released in Q2 of 2024 and as of late November not updated. My vehicle has last checked mid-November, and they tested a new one still on lot and it didn't work, and talked to a salesperson who said he delivered a new one the week of Thanksgiving and it didn't work either.

While using the Ford BlueCruise system which is supposed to keep the vehicle centered in the lane along when it is in use on the highways it is programmed for, the system in this vehicle wanders throughout the lane from one side lane marker to the other lane marker. When first setting the cruise control which activates the lane assist program in this vehicle, it wants to initially justify to the left (drivers side) lane marker and fights any input from the driver to re-center the vehicle in the lane. If I let the system take the full control, a…
Driving on the freeway, with nothing in front except road, the Bluecruise/adaptive cruise control suddenly started slowing the vehicle to 25 mph from 70 mph. This has happened 5 times. The fifth time, the lane keeping system and adaptive cruise quit working but did not give any warning on the lane keeping having stopped working. In town, adaptive cruise will vary between the local speed and 25 mph but there is no speed limit sign showing a change of speed. Sometimes, the vehicle will slow down when that happens but recently it keeps going a…

Since day one from the purchase of this vehicle, I have been experiencing seatbelt issues. This car was purchased for my work. It’s a commercial Livery vehicle, but I am suffering each day with complaints from riders and every time it goes to the dealership I am losing time and income. I have lost my confidence in this car. This car was bought for peace of mind but all I have ever experienced is nuisance, hassle, loss of time, suffering, [XXX] complaints and complete loss of confidence. I did not expect this from a new vehicle. The seat belt…

There is a safety concern with this car involving the feature that automatically slows down the car when a curve in the road is detected. This problem with the curve detection feature happens when the dynamic cruise control is engaged, with or without BlueCruise being active. At certain locations on the freeway, the car will aburptly brake, slowing the car by approximately 10 mph. When the abrupt slowdown occurs, the driver's display shows the icon for curve detection when there is no curve in the road. An abrupt reduction of speed on the freew…
There is a safety issue involving inaccurate detection of the driver's hands on the steering wheel. The vehicle frequently provides a warning on the driver's information display that I need to place my hands on the steering wheel despite both hands being firmly on the steering wheel already. Sometimes, I can get the car to recognize that my hands are on the steering wheel by firmly squeezing the wheel in the same or a different position. If the dynamic cruise control is engaged at the time, and I cannot get the car to recognize my hands are on …
Lincoln Navigation has incorrect speed limit detection/programming on rural roads in Fulton County Ohio. When using the Adaptive Cruise, firstly the Speed Limit icon that is stationary on the dash, right in front of the driver, has incorrect speed limits. The speed limits icon also randomly goes from the incorrect speed of 45mpg, suddenly for no environmental reason, drops to 25 mph, then after a distance, goes back up to 45 mpg. The speed limits on all rural roads, other than municipalities, is 55 mph. While using the Adaptive Cruise, if…

We haven’t had the car for a full year yet and already have now had our 3rd front windshield cracked! It’s either the glass is too fragile or the shape of it. I’ve never had this happen with any car ever! I’ve also read online several other car owners complaining of the same issue.
While driving 60 + mph on the highway, the car turned off.it felt like someone turned the ignition off. Gas pedal was dead and i had to coast to a stop. The car popped up “Stop Safely Now”. We got it towed to dealership and they kept it for 2 weeeks. In spite of informing them about issue, they never acknowledged or fixed it and returned car to my home saying everything looks good. But it’s obviously not. I am clearly not driving it anymore as it might stopped working again and that time I might not be as lucky as last time. Driving this car…

Complete months in the latest six months with at least 10 complaints, at least twice the preceding 12-month average, and at least three square-root deviations above that average.
This is a descriptive screening rule, not a statistical defect finding. Publicity and reporting changes can increase submissions.
No complete months meet the spike thresholds for this selection.
Equal-age model-year comparison
Model-wide cumulative reports during the first three or five calendar years, starting with the model year (age 0). Only fully elapsed windows are compared.
No selected model years have a complete observation window. Choose an eligible year or a shorter window.
Incident date is preferred when valid and no later than filing; otherwise filing date is used. Model year approximates age. Equal observation time does not adjust for sales, distance driven or reporting delays. One complaint linked to multiple model years can appear in each cohort.
