Owner report 11612667 · 2024-09-04 (September 4, 2024)

When the cruise control is canceled and the speed has dropped more than a couple of MPH when it re-engages the accelerator goes full throttle just like you've mashed the pedal to the floor. Also when in an HOV lane with a dividing wall to the left and going around a highway curve it modulates brake/gas/brake/gas, etc. It will also occasionally pick up another vehicle on either side when on a highway curve and do the same thing. But it seems to operate properly in a straight line. I have spoken with Mazda Customer Service several times. The 1st …

The vehicle is experiencing premature transmission failure, since about 9,000 miles. Mazda has been dropping the ball at replacing it under warranty and we found out there are 3 other CX-30s that I know of with similar issues. I believe Mazda has a faulty transmission in these cars based off my findings and other complaints.

Reporting Product Defect in Mazda Vehicles I am writing to bring to your attention a recurring design flaw affecting current Mazda vehicles, including models such as CX30, MX30, and potentially the Mazda3 series. Following heavy rain or high humidity conditions, there is a consistent issue with the tire pressure sensor alarming and the smart key being unable to unlock the car doors. I wondered if, after my first service visit on 11-12-25, the dealership put regular leaded gas instead of premium in it, because there was a noticeable difference in gas mileage and the engine started revving pretty high, in my opinion. It also seemed to have less power (which was my main reason foe thinking the wrong gas had been out in). And since then, it hasn't been the same.

I was driving my 2026 Mazda CX-30 in a parking lot and was pulling into a parking space at a very low speed. I lightly pressed the accelerator to move the car forward, but the car suddenly surged forward much faster than I intended or expected based on how lightly I had pressed the pedal. The sudden acceleration resulted in a collision and property damage. There were no warning lights, warning messages, or other dashboard alerts before or at the time of the incident. I do not know what specifically caused the car to accelerate this way. I am …

Manufacturing defect in the windshield glass: distorted/warped windshield glass causing waves/ripples. Result: impaired visibility when operating vehicle and rapid eye fatigue. I took delivery of a 2022 Mazda CX-30 recently, and noticed that the windshield was very distorted. Moving my head caused the image to shift in unexpected ways. The windshield was noticeably wavy and caused double vision. The new windshield also distorts the active driving display as well, which was not apparent on the original. When I complained about the replacement, the dealer's service manager said tha…

The car randomly starts driving or feeling 'jerky" as if cruise control has taken over - 'phantom braking' is a term I came across that sounds accurate to me. And now, after having the vehicle for almost 30 days- there is significantly less mpg.received. 300 first tank vs about 250 this current tank.

Cruise control and lane keeping system engaged. Vehicle will occasionally aggressively apply brakes, when nothing visible is in front of the vehicle. Cruise control and lane keeping system engaged. Vehicle will occasionally aggressively apply brakes, when nothing visible is in front of the vehicle. This has nearly cause our car to be rear ended on a number of occasions. I suspect the system mistakenly interprets a building or vehicle shadow as a physical object. This response has also occurred when vehicle in front (cruise control distance at slower speed) turns right. Again, nearly causing vehicle behind to be rear ended.

I purchased the 2024 Mazda CX-30 from Werner Mazda in Manchester, NH on 12-16-2023. It came with defect(s) that cause interior water buildup on inside windows & roof that also caused the air bag deployers to rust & corrode & for toxic mold to develop in the car. Was obvious soon after I drove the car off the lot on [XXX]. I have taken many pictures & videos of it. Werner Mazda failed to fix the defect(s) / leaks even with video support from Regional Mazda. I filed a Demand For Arbitration with NH New DMV Arbitration Board for a vehicle bu…

While driving normally at highway speed on I-880 South, the braking system failed to decelerate the vehicle. When the brake pedal was pressed firmly, there was no normal slowing, only a sliding sensation, as if the wheels locked and the car moved forward on ice. This led to a collision with a stopped vehicle ahead. The following day, the Mazda App displayed a red alert message: “Brake system malfunction. Braking effectiveness may be decreased.” The vehicle’s airbags deployed very forcefully, causing bruising to both driver and passenger, even th…

What component or system failed or malfunctioned, and is it available for inspection upon request? The automatic braking turned on while I was accelerating. My car is available for inspection. How was your safety or the safety of others put at risk? Has the problem been reproduced or confirmed by a dealer or independent service center? It has happened to me maybe 4 times before but the dealer hasn't b…

What is happening with my car are the exact symptoms of the known Mazda Recall 6824H - where the Smart Brake Support suddenly engages for no reason and when it does not need to - which has almost caused me to be rear-ended a few times. This has happened at least 7-8 times since I have owned the vehicle. Apparently, my VIN does not fall under the cars that Mazda reports for the Recall, but nonetheless, my car is still malfunctioning as the Recall describes, which is a safety issue for me. The Recall also states: "Due to an improper program set…
